Around 20's, Colonia Condesa with the Colonia Roma, started to grow as one of the richest neighborhoods in town. Nowadays, both are one of the most trendy and fashionable neighborhoods in Mexico City, have a lot of restaurants, bars, fashion stores, coffee shops, bookstores, art galleries, independent cinema and theater forums. But they also still keep their residential neighborhood style of life and you can walk all around, enjoy the parks (Parque España and Parque México), ride bicycle, appreciate the architecture (from Art Deco to Modern).
The building takes up an entire block and has on it commercial premises in the ground floor and you can have just outside the apartment very good restaurants (one with delicious coffee and bakery) and coffee shops.
There are also manny options of walking distance restaurants and a laundry and dry cleaner just crossing the street.
A little bit further, but still at walking distance, going east, just crossing Avenida de Los Insurgentes, you have the Colonia Roma; walking west, you have Chapultepec with Museums (Antropología, Tamayo, Arte Moderno) and its beautiful Bosque de Chapultepec, one of the largest city parks in the continent.

The most important thing is that you enjoy the space, but there are some things to have in mind in order to have a good host-guest relationship.
I like respectful people, this means that are considerate with others and with the space. Smoking it's not permitted; parties are not allowed; please don't play music loud; have in mind that because of the indoor patio sound travels to other apartments in an easier way; if needed, you may close your windows in order to keep privacy. The indoor patio it's shared with a lovely lady, greens help to split the space and keep privacy between each other.
About child-friendly (2-12) it's something that I'd like to manage case by case.
Carmen, the lady that has ben cleaning and taking care of the house for many years, will come every Tuesday and every second Thursday (10a-3p). She will keep the house clean, the plants with water and although she doesn't speak English I'm sure you'll find the way to ask her anything you may need (i.e. if you want your bed sheets to be changed, just leave them in the floor).
If anything needs to be fixed it or it's broken, please let us know in order to work on it.
Cancel up to 5 days before your trip and get a full refund, including service fees.
I work in the film industry and I live between San Juan, Puerto Rico and Mexico City.

I try to be as much planet responsible as I can. I'm vegetarian.
I like to be respectful of other’s life and belongings.
I'd love to travel more often.
