Authentic feeling farm cottage, comfortable bed, great location. Would be a little cold in winter if not for keeping the wood burner running hot. Awaking to all the birdsong every morning was a pleasant surprise.

Great farm cottage with all that you need. Lovely easy to light fire and plenty of wood for a cosy stay. Sonya left milk and jam in the fridge which was much appreciated. Loved the chooks who came over each day to visit. Comfy beds and a great bathroom. Great recommendations doe dinner in Fairlie at the Old Library café - A great place to stay

What a really nice and authentic stone cottage to stay in. Sonya lit the fire and made the cottage nice and warm for our arrival. The cottage is very quiet and peaceful and perfect for our short stay in the area. Sonya communicated really clearly and kept us up to speed with all aspects. We were on our way from Queenstown to Christchurch and Fairlie was a handy stop - make sure you have a local award winning pie and check out Carnegie Restaurant - awesome hometown feel and service and tasty wood fired cooked lamb rack for dinner. Thanks.

Awesome cottage located in the middle of a crop farm. Fully equiped and really quiet. Would be great for star watching but we got a rainy day. We still enjoyed ourselves dining at the recommended old library cafe, walking around and just relaxing by the log fire. Not far away from lake Tekapo and we loved the scenic drive. Great place, higly recomended!
