Ashita and office staff are so nice. Location is near the bus stops to Kiyomizu-dera, Ginkakuji, Arashiyama. You also can walk to Heian Shrine. The environment is very quiet at night. There is also a supermarket nearby. This house are recommended for young group. The room at 2F may not be nice for the elders. The toilet is located at 1F and the stairs are too steep.

Ashita was communicative , helpful and responded all of our questions Quickly. To be able to leave luggages to the office before and after check in/out times was efficient. The house was nice. It was a bit hard to reach with the luggages by subway where you have to make a change from kyoto station but was in a peaceful neighborhood. It takes 15 minutes to reach the gion area by walking. The equipmemts were ok . The stairs in the house was very steep. It was a bit hard for my daughter, 4 years old to come Down. Portable wifi helped us a lot. Overall, it was nice and comfortable. And we loved the coffee machine:)

Ashita is a great communicator and her public transport directions were excellent-better than (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) maps. Cabs cannot find this place as its off a very narrow street. Just have a cab drop you at the grocery around the corner (in directions). The location is very convenient to see Kyoto. The apartment is 2 floors and the stairs are very steep. Bedrooms are upstairs and the futons were very comfortable -loved the down quilts. We stayed in the summer and be aware that the toilet & shower & fridge & vanity sink & washing machine are all outside. It was extremely hot when we stayed so rather uncomfortable to go out and use those facilities. Great water pressure in the shower/bath. Loved having a washing machine...detergent was provided! It was plenty of space for 4 adults. It was a good choice for us. Do be aware that it is traditional Japanese style, the only piece of furniture is a floor table. (So no couch or chairs) We enjoyed our time here and appreciated all the great communication with Ashita...she responds quickly (we were on the top of Mt Fuji and had to make some arrival adjustments). The place is neat and clean. Good choice.

We really enjoyed our stay at Ashita's place! It was very nice, clean, quiet, spacious, and conveniently located to all the cool parts of Kyoto! The house manual came in very handy and made it easy to find the place and check in. Thank you for everything and being so laid back about us losing the umbrellas (sorry again). We would highly recommend Ashita's place and would love to stay there again in the future!!

The location is great , it take around 15-20 min to go to pontocho , shopping , and gion by walking. Ashita is really nice , kind , and friendly :) .However , it is a little bit hard to find hourse.
