About this listing
I like the place here especially because there are no cars at all.
The alleys are simply to narrow. And of course I do like very much the romantic atmosphere of the old Town. Just magnificent and admirable.

The Apartment is located in the historic Old Town of Corfu, on the 3rd floor. The house was build about 200 years ago not far from the old harbour (150 meters).
Here in the Old Town there are no cars, because of the really narrow streets. I do live here for 25 years now, so I can give you plenty of Informations about the Town and the Island, Attractions and Excursions, the History of Corfu and how it is to live among the Corfiots.
In case you are not going to rent a Bike or a Car, it is easy to go by public Bus nearly to any point of the Island.
There are countless swimming areas, most of them are sandy beaches and just a few are pepple beaches.
The most and best are on the west coast towards the open sea.
In the evening there are multiple entertainment options in Corfu Town. You can just walk through the charming labyrinth of Corfu
and sooner or later you will probably stop at one of the many Cafes. And while you're drinking an iced coffee you also may enjoy the causual lifestil of the Greeks.
And of course there are plenty of Tavernas, restaurants and bars, where everyone can enjoy him self and the local specialties.
Interaction with Guests
Most of the time I will be also living in the same house because I will have lessons with my studends.
The Neighborhood is in did very charming. Right in the heart of Corfus Old Town. No cars at all. But humans from all over the world.
The Town is realy cosmopolitan and build for human.
There a plenty of Buses going in all directions.
And of course it is easy to rent a car or a bike.
Try your best to leave the place the way you find it when you come.
Michael was very friendly and gave us some tips on things to do in the area. The location of the apartment is good, and central for exploring Corfu town.
Michael was a really nice and warm person who made us feel welcome by buying some bread and was always helpful with advices and information concerning locations etc. The apartment was really nice and charming too, even though the apartment wasn't as we expected because of the pictures on the website.
We enjoyed staying at Corfu and Michael's place very much. We also had some good chats with him and he was very openminded.
The only thing that wasn't so pleasant was the cordination with our arrival and departure time because we had some night flights. We had 14 hours with no place to stay the last day because another guest arrived at the apartment. That made us feel a little "kicked out" of the place because of the bad cordination.
The room was really cosy and I really liked this place. It's almost in the centre of the old city and therefore it was also really convenient to buy some things or eat something - really good location. Only problem about the location is that it's an old city, old apartment and it was hard to get there with my large baggage. Room is also really hot during the summer days in Kerkyra but you have a fan so you can use it. And Michael was really kind and he provided me bread, waters, the cake he made and lot more! I was really happy to met him and definitely when I have a chance to visit Kerkyra again, I'll go there again!
We had a great stay with Michael. We wish we could have stayed longer. Michael was very welcoming and able to accommodate a late arrival. He is friendly, is apartment is spotless and the location can't be beat in Corfu's Old Town.
The room is nice and totally corresponds to the description. Michael was friendly and gave some good travel advices. We forgot the beauty kit and he was so nice to bring it to the hotel when we came back to Corfu in a week. Thank you Michael!
About the Host, Michael
