Room Seahorse also known as room L is on the 2nd Floor. It’s all about location, location, location! This isn’t a fancy, modern place — and that’s part of its charm. The rooms are clean, comfy, and give you everything you need for a relaxing stay. Plus, with so much to see and do nearby, you won’t be spending much time indoors anyway. Shops, restaurants, and the ocean are all just a short walk away!

Welcome to La Casa del Mar: a charming Spanish-Mediterranean style accommodation located on Fort Lauderdale Beach, the "Venice of America", where you can enjoy the sub-tropical climate, ocean, beach, sun and fun! La Casa Del Mar is situated in a charming, two-story Mediterranean villa, built early in this century by the famous architect William Vaughn for the Francis Colter family who resided there until it became a small hotel in the 1950s.

Property is old Florida style. If you're looking for a fun, affordable getaway, this is the spot! The price is easy on the wallet, making it perfect for budget-friendly travelers who want to be right in the heart of it all. The room comes with free Wi-Fi, so you can stay connected while you’re out exploring.

CHECK IN & OUTS-

Check in is at 3pm - We cannot accommodate an early check in

Check out is at 11am- If we are able to accommodate a late check out, it cannot exceed past 7pm. We will know if we can accommodate you the day before you check out. Please reach out to us the day before your departure and "If" we are able to accommodate the late check out there is a $20 an hour fee.

LUGGAGE- We do not have a holding area for luggage.

PARKING- parking is very limited in the area and in high demand. All parking is on a first come first serve. We leave a parking pass in the room on arrival day.

VISITORS- For the safety of our guests, no visitors allowed after 6pm and definitely NO PARKING ON ANY OF OUR PARKING SPACES.

The pool doesn’t have a lifeguard but is open from sunrise to sunset. It is not heated and it is maintained twice a week for your enjoyment.

You will receive check in instructions a 24-48 hours prior to check in and the day of check in. It will include the property address, code to enter the property and the code to gain access to the room. We also send this information by text message to the number provided upon booking.
