This was an awesome stay. Being in Spanish Town the weekend before Mardi Gras was an experience to remember. Super convenient for the parade, and festive everywhere. Loved it!

It was an absolute pleasure to stay with Mary Kay and Robert. Their home is beautiful and the accommodations were luxurious. Some of Mary Kay's art is displayed throughout the rooms and it is clear how much intention they put into making their home lovely and welcoming. The clawfoot bathtub is a treat in itself. Their hospitality was without compare as they greeted me and were available to assist any of my needs, including providing wonderful and detailed recommendations which guided my visit. Their home is a perfect location for looking to explore the walkable downtown of Baton Rouge and I hope to be back soon!

Mary was a wonderful host for my quick stay in Baton Rouge! Not only was the location absolutely perfect for running the Louisiana Marathon (a quick walk to the start line) but her home was lovely (probably the coolest bathroom I have ever seen), and Mary was such an attentive and caring host! Would absolutely stay again!

Mary Kay User ProfileMary Kay is a superhost.

Hello!
I am an artisan and local business owner that has lived in Baton Rouge for 34 yrs. Spanish Town, were I live, is the jewel of the city. There is always a festival, event, and cultural activity happening within walking distance, and the state capital is two blocks away.
I enjoy traveling and frequently use Airbnb for my travels. This gives me an excellent perspective on the needs of the guests. My travels commonly take me to other countries, especially Spanish speaking countries.

Thank you for reviewing my listing,
Mary Kay
