Just off The Sunshine Coast Hwy, our cabin is located a mile down a gravel road with a creek running along side the forested road. A 4X4 vechicle is recommended as the is steep and can be bumpy. The cabin is very private being set off to one side of a creek and shares 25 acres with two other cabins. We have a private dock to tie your boat up at as well as to sit on and enjoy the passing watercraft and wildlife.
Interaction with guests
I meet and greet guests and explain the ins and outs of the cabin.
Other things to note
Do not wash the linens before you leave. Just pile towels in tub and bedding may be left in a pile or on beds. We do not wash these at the cabin as we do not want to put a strain on the septic system. Thank you :-)
There is no garbage pick up. Guests are asked to take away their garbage. We have a trash compactor.
As garbage pick up is not available we have a trash compactor for guest use. Guest garbage is to be taken away by guest upon departure.
Cleaned recyclables may be left in provided bins or also taken upon departure.
Dogs approved to stay with guest are to be kept on our property and not allowed to wander over to adjacent properties.
I am a retired primary school teacher who spends time between North Vancouver, Palm Springs and the Sunshine Coast. We like people to enjoy our lake front property as much as we do, that's why we like to share it with others.
