Are you rather urban but enjoy a countryside environment? Love to walk? This place is ideally located.
Close to the center of Liège (20'on foot, 10' by bike / bus) and in a countryside environment, this apartment on 2 levels in a family house has a triple bedroom with small living room and ensuite bathroom and a kitchen on the lower level. Wide views of the neighborhood and surrounding municipalities. Starting point for walks on the slopes at 2 steps.

The space
Close to the city center which you can reach on foot by a bucolic trail (20 minutes from Place St Lambert), you enjoy a rural and quiet environment in a popular area, although the train that passes nearby is audible from your room. Your home, bright and decorated with vintage furniture, is spread over 2 levels. On the 1st floor, your large room has a double bed, a seating area with an extra bed, an office area, an adjoining bathroom and offers a beautiful view of the neighborhood (25 m2). The kitchen is installed on the ground floor and includes a kitchenette furniture (2 glass-ceramic stalls + an electric reserve, a fridge and a sink), a microwave, a kettle, a simple coffee machine 2 cups, a percolator, a fruit press, a toaster, dishes and classic utensils. She has a table where it is easy to have her meal at 3. The apartment is only used by you but I sometimes have to cross your kitchen to go to a room in the back and our family also takes the corridor between the 2 levels, essentially leaving the house in the morning and returning in the evening.
Wifi is available in all your rooms. If you have an Ethernet cable, you can also connect directly to the bbox in the small office. The speed measured in wifi mode is 21 and 19 Mb/s (respectively download and send), which is modest but allows teleworking with videoconferencing, experienced by many travelers.
The shared garden, on terraces, is spacious and offers a beautiful view of the Saint Léonard district and its surroundings. Families are welcome!
The washing machine and the dryer can be used by hourly arrangement. Public transport (bus) nearby and motorways 2 minutes away.
Do not hesitate to ask for additional information.

Guest access
You occupy the ground floor and the first floor. Our family occupies the upper floors. The corridor on the ground floor and the first floor are common. The garden is very spacious and allows you to recharge without the risk of stepping on your feet. Thank you, however, for reserving the first terrace (on one level with our stay) when we are there to preserve our family privacy.
I have two young children who are sometimes noisy in the morning. They improve but can sometimes disturb the tranquility of the place in the evening and in the morning between 7 and 8 am..:-)

Other things to note
Arrival and departure times are flexible but to be agreed in advance. By default, the departure must be done by noon. Some days we can be free all day to welcome you, other days it will be limited to the morning or evening from 18h (working hours). In case of unavailability, I can organize your autonomous entrance with a key box.

To have access to 2 cellars, it may be necessary (as often as possible) that I go through your kitchen. Your other rooms (living room and bathroom) are strictly private. However, for long stays, my housekeeper will do your bathroom every 15 days (prevention of toilet scaling).

The door has a barrel and secure keys. I ask the utmost attention in relation to your key, the refund of the barrel and a new set of keys will be requested in case of loss. We ask smokers to smoke outside (garden or street) and to pick up their butts.

Even on the first floor, the living room window cannot remain open in your absence, as burglaries have already occurred in the street.

Thank you for ensuring your energy consumption, heating and domestic hot water are dependent on gas.

The glass-ceramic plate (new from October 2020) requires a few simple steps to keep it in excellent condition: wipe the stains before they dry, use only a microfiber cloth or 1 non-abrasive sponge. No corrosive product! (dish soap ok). there is a specific scraper in the drawer if unfortunately there are inlaid stains. Do not use it as a work surface as it may be scratched.

Visits with overnight stays of outside people are possible for long stays, provided we are notified. Beyond 2 people present in the accommodation, supplements for "3rd person" nights are provided, at the rate of 15 euros/night. Evening dinners are possible, but there are no parties.

In case of the need to use measures to prevent the transmission of Covid 19: In my house, we use common corridors and therefore we touch some of the same door knobs. It is difficult to ask everyone to disinfect the clinches after passing, so I suggest washing your hands after borrowing the common areas. If you have a specific request or question about this, please do not hesitate to talk to me before your stay. It will be fun anyway.:-)

Domiciliations are possible, ONLY on request. It is not permissible for the address to be given to commercial bodies.

Where you’ll be

Liège, Région wallonne, Belgium

Beautiful walks (hillsides of the citadel) start 2 steps from the house and you can reach the center by a charming trail where it is not uncommon to cross a herd of goats. The center of the neighborhood (10 minutes walk), very cosmopolitan and lively, is full of friendly nooks and is well equipped with local shops.

Hosting people in my home was not a vocation but in the end, they are (almost) always good surprises. I really appreciate the diversity of encounters through airbnb. Guests appreciate my hospitality and communication. Welcome!
