Amazing long weekend here, there was everything we needed for a quiet escape to the countryside. James was a great host and advised us on some local places to visit. We had dinner at the Rodney Stoke Inn and the Cider Barn - both were great and very different. Easy access to Wells, Cheddar Gorge and Glastonbury. The barn was beautifully decorated and the breakfast basket was a rea treat. Will definitely be recommending this place to family and friends. Thanks James!

What a beautiful place. We were central to everything we wanted to visit such as Cheddar and Wells. The pictures do not do this place justice; it is stunning inside and out. James was a great host who gave us lots of information and our stay went without a hitch!

Superb barn conversion in which to spend a couple of days. Obviously created with a lot of love and attention, beautifully decorated and finished in a rustic style. The breakfast basket provided was very well stocked to set us up for a day walking Cheddar Gorge. James and his wife were great hosts, greeted us on arrival and very close by should we have needed anything, which as The Barn was already set up brilliantly, we didn't. The village is very quiet but the Cider Barn, about 10 minutes walk away has a lively atmosphere with friendly locals, large choice of ciders (and ales) and good food (recommend the cheese ploughmans).
