Meg's ecocabin was absolutely perfect for the weekend gateway that my partner and myself embarked upon. The cabin exceeded expectations with the perfect combination of a stunning view with a homely, well built structure that made the trip comfortable and memorable. The morning views were so picturesque that I wanted to spend hours sipping my tea on the porch. One of my particularly favourite aspects was the shower that featured glass walls overlooking the edge of the valley. The effect was a soothing shower in total serenity. The home was easy to find and our privacy was respected, exactly as we desired.

Romantic, secluded, and scenic, just what I was after for a weekend getaway. It felt and looked like I was far far away, but just an hours drive from Brisbane. The views were amazing and location was perfect for everything I wanted to see in Mount Tamborine. Thank you.

Megs cabin is absolutely beautiful and was a lovely stay! My partner and I needed a weekend escape from work, weekend obligations and city noise and this was the best place to be. The cabin is small- fits a large king bed, small kitchenette and a bathroom; The space was just perfect for bathing in the sunlight and reading a big book in bed, or on the small deck. The cabin is directly behind the main house, but is secluded and hidden within trees, palms and colourful flowers. We had complete privacy and quiet plus a view! Don't be shy of the bathroom, with its glass walls: this was by far the best feature as it feels like you're completely immersed in the beautiful gardens and surrounding forest. If you're after a secluded, quiet and hidden cabin in the Goast Hinterland, just 45 minute walk to town, bush walks and waterfalls, then I very much recommend this Cozy Eco Cabin. Thankyou, Meg, for a very relaxing and calm weekend!

Hi Dakota and Dylan, Sorry I didn't get to leave a review for you. It's been crazy busy since returning from overseas and I'm only now catching up (kind of). Thank you for being perfect guests. Don't worry about the drop of wine, these things happen and it came out easily. It was lovely meeting you both and I'm always so happy to meet nice people like yourselves and then, have them enjoy the cabin which we love so much too. Warmest wishes.

This is a wonderful, stylish cabin that offers privacy nestled in a hillside. It was like sleeping in the tree tops and to watch the sun rise over the bush while still in bed was an added bonus. Thank you Meg (and family) for sharing this special place.

Hi Cheryl, Thank you for staying with us and sorry we didn't get to meet. The garden is a labor of love which we try to maintain and build upon around busy work and family life so it is lovely to have guests appreciate the hardwork. I've arrived back from overseas and overwhelmed by the work ahead of me but the stunning weather makes it easy to tackle. Warm regards, Meg

Absolutely stunning location, this is a quality Airbnb experience for travellers in the scenic basin. The cabin is cosy and delightful, with breathtaking views of the surrounding rainforest and sunrise /sunset. I absolutely loved the glass walls in the bathroom - it was so lovely to have our morning showers right next to nature. This space has obviously been constructed with a lot of love and thought, and everything was provided for us, including freshly ground coffee and homemade biscuits. This place is a true slice of heaven for nature lovers and a fantastic retreat for couples and good friends - cannot recommend it enough.

I am an Australian Producer/Director married to a cinematographer. We have three children (21, 16 and 12 years). We live between our home in the mountains outside Brisbane, surrounded by rainforest and views to the ocean and our inner city, West End house. I love design, art, gardening, keeping fit, travel, music, reading, this list goes on and on. Our daughter is a fluent French speaker and understands a little Spanish so she can always help if you need translation.
