Overall a great experience. Fantastic neighbourhood. We managed to find on street parking each day but the road is quite tight so a small car is better. Loved the kitten but wanted to take him with us! Lol! The dipping pool is pleasant. The room is small but ok if you are out most of the time and have little luggage. Would return for sure but would try a bigger room next time.

The house is a wonderful place to stay; it is very central to the City of Cape Town and is in a vibey area. The shared spaces in the house are great, there is a comfortable, spacious sitting room; and a patio area with a small plunge pool. We stayed in the Courtyard Room, which I do not recommend: it is below street level and opens into an enclosed courtyard which means there is little natural light and little ventilation. I would recommend that you make sure your room has a window to the outside of the building. The courtyard room is very small and has two single beds together to form a king sized bed. We felt very comfortable utilising the shared spaces in the house. The staff are friendly and attentive. The house is very clean and well kept. The bedding and towels are clean and crisp; the beds are firm and comfortable; the rooms contain all the requirements like iron and board, fan, hairdryer, toiletries, coffee and tea facilities, water glasses and wine glasses. Parking is tricky but not impossible; with some patience and a short walk you can find parking in the area. There have been incidents of petty theft car break-ins, so do not leave anything in your car that would attract attention; that said, there are security guards in the neighbourhood and we felt safe at all times. There are lovely restaurants and bars nearby.

The main love in my life is my horse called Nikita and my best time is time spent with her and my 4 dogs. I enjoy outdoor adventures and my traveling involves committed pursuits like climbing Kilimanjaro or horse riding through the Namibian desert.
My introverted style of Airbnb hosting I direct from behind the scenes. There will be a front office team to take care of your needs but I am always available on my mobile or via Airbnb to assist as I work in conjunction with them. Please respect Sundays and Christmas as I spend these days with loved ones-please do not send inquiries about your reservation unless it is urgent on these days.
