The space

The Space
With a Walk Score of 98 and easy access to multiple bus stops, you hardly need a car. This, cozy, refurbished, top floor apartment is the perfect in-city oasis.
Guest Access
On-site laundry is available for guests that accepts credit cards. Guests can also enjoy cable tv on the flat screen and in-room wifi.
Interaction with Guests
We're happy to to offer any suggestions or recommendations for your stay in Seattle!
The Neighborhood
The Pike/Pine area on Capitol is a bustling neighborhood of restaurants, coffee shops and nightlife--yet it is also very close to downtown Seattle or the more residential areas of Capitol Hill. The Walk Score of 98 kind of sums up the location, it's a walker's paradise and easy to get anywhere.
Getting Around
Street parking is available generally available but gets a bit tighter at night. The #11 bus to downtown stops across the street. Buses going in the north/south direction are also only a few blocks away on 12th or Broadway.
Other Things to Note
The building is generally very quiet and the Spinasse downstairs coupled with it's affiliate next door is frequently cited as the best Italian restaurant in Seattle. This 3rd floor studio is on E. Pine Street, just up the street from a fire station--there will be times when guest hear fire trucks are "leaving the station".

Overall, we had a great time at this location. The way to get in the apartment was super helpful. The number one reason besides location we picked this place was because the bed looked very comfortable which we needed after an international flight and it did not disappoint. The capital hill becomes lively after dark and is full of restaurants and bars to go visit. A Walgreens is near by as well if you need to get something you forgot on the trip. Having a car is inconvenient in terms of parking but that is what is is for the city of Seattle. Overall, we would love to stay here again,

This is a small upscale studio with a small functional kitchen and bath. Great for 1-2 people. The bed is super comfortable and there is a laundry in the basement of the building. We walked to all the sights and just took uber back when we were through ( uphill and it was quite warm). Lots of restaurants in the area....we loved several on Pike just a few blocks away. Only draw back is parking which you have to pay for...parking garage around the corner.

The location within Seattle is fantastic! Jessica and Lisa were very on top of their communication with me. Lisa kindly sent a message the morning of checkin saying we could get there as early as we want since the place was ready. A comfy bed and some helpful touches like 2-in-1 shampoo/conditioner, body wash, and hair dryer were nice. If you are a light sleeper, this might not be the best place for you as the fire station is on the same block and is apparently very active at night! The past couple airbnb's we've stayed in have had just one roll of paper towels and 1-2 rolls of TP. That is kind of minor but could be an inconvenience for someone. We enjoyed our time very much at Jessica and Lisa's place, and really enjoyed being a short walk to many different places we wanted to see in Seattle.

Very good location

The apartment is very clean, cozy, well stocked, and the bed was very comfortable. Location is unbeatable! I will definitely stay there again on another trip. The only things others might want to know are: -Theres no elevator so you'll be walking the 3 floors up by stairs (but they're very easy stairs!). -Theres no AC and the windows dont really open because its an old building so it was really hot on the warm night I stayed. There was a stand up fan though that really helped! -Theres no cable, only a smart TV so you can stream on your own accounts as much as you want, which is great!! But if you like your morning news like I do, you'll have to get it another way. Overall, I really liked the place and will stay again. It's a great spot!

We love the Chester and making neat old buildings like this very livable. Over the last 10 years, we have spent considerably time (and money!) restoring it . And, Spinasse and Artusi, are truly some of the best restaurants in the city and they're downstairs!

You should also love the neighborhood, stroll down to OddFellows Cafe for breakfast or Molly Moons for ice cream, get lost in Elliott Bay Books, it's a very unique piece of the Pacific NW!
