Interaction with guests
We are only a text away and very happy to offer advice on where to go, whether you are looking for a place to eat or something to visit. I will meet you at the flat on arrival so that I can show you around the flat and answer any question.
The flat is situated in a vibrant part of the city and there is so much to explore around the area:
- GOMA, Glasgow's modern art gallery at the end of Ingram St;
- Merchant Square and the Merchant City where you will find a plethora of bars, coffee shops, restaurants...
- the Barras and its market at the weekend;
- Glasgow Green, the largest park in Glasgow, where you will find the People's Palace;
- the School of Art, designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh;
- and lots more...
The flat is ideally situated to visit Glasgow and the surrounding areas. The main two train stations are within walking distances (Queen Street station is 5 mins away from the flat; Glasgow Central, 10 mins). The main coach station, Bucchanan Street station, is also a 10-min walk. The nearest underground station, Bucchanan Street, is a short 5-min walk from the flat. From there, it is a 10-min ride to the West End of Glasgow (the area around Glasgow University that is filled with coffee shops, restaurants, bars, independant shops...). Finally, the airport is a 15-min ride by taxi and less than half an hour by coach (service 500).
If you require parking there is plenty of street-parking available around. Though it can be expensive and time limited. It is generally free between 6pm & 8am (check at the meter to be sure though). Q-Park is a multi storey car park on Albion Street that is reasonable or there is a small car park around the corner from the flat on Ingram St. It's £9 for 24 hours.
Other things to note
All linen and towels are provided; there is plenty for breakfast waiting for you at the flat in the kitchen, including tea, coffee, bread and croissants.
Check-in is usually from 2pm and check-out is by 11am (these hours can be flexible if the apartment is not used before or after your stay).
Please be aware that the flat is in a residential building and, as such, we ask that you respect the other residents by keeping noise to a minimum and making sure that all communal doors are kept locked.
The fold-out bed in the recess is an occasional bed so, please, do not stand on it.

We are a French / Scottish couple living in Glasgow. We are friendly, sociable and like new experiences. Yann is a teacher in a Glasgow primary school whilst Garry is a freelance cameraman and photographer. We love films, especially indie or world cinema and the occasional American blockbuster. ;) We are also very fond of going to the theatre, the ballet or musicals. Yann loves cooking and video games (he is a bit of a geek); Garry spends most of his times editing his artwork...
