About this listing

Come and enjoy all that our holiday home away from home has to offer. Set in a very quiet area of the Whitsundays you will be sure to enjoy the beaches, fishing and lots of wildlife that visit the bushland directly behind the house.

Description

The space

A 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom, fully furnished house with everything you need for a relaxing holiday away. Plenty of undercover paring for cars and boats, as well as a large deck with gas BBQ and outdoor eating area. Please note that the house does not currently have airconditioning. Guests are required to bring their own linen and towels as this house does not have a daily housekeeping service.

Interaction with guests

As the house is located in a quiet area of the Whitsundays, no host will be on site. If you run into problems however, there is a property manager just 5 minutes away who is always available to help solve any issues you may have.

The neighbourhood

Quiet, coastal area of the Whitsundays which is surrounded by national park, you will be sure to enjoy the surrounds and getting away from the hustle and bustle of the city and major tourist areas.

Getting around

There is no public transport to the area so a private vehicle is required.

Other things to note

This house is pet friendly to all outdoor areas (the yard is not fenced). We do appreciate that some pets are "indoor people". If you wish to bring an inside pet with you for your holiday, please request this when you book as prior approval by management is required.
You will need a vehicle when staying at this house as it is 45 minutes drive from Airlie Beach and the Proserpine Airport.
Guests are required to bring their own linen and towels as this house does not have a daily housekeeping service.


House Rules
Check-in is after 2PM

The house rules are as shown below:
1.Smoking is allowed at the property in outside areas only.
2.People other than those paid for in the guest party may not stay overnight in the property. Any visitors to the property are the sole responsibility of the guest. Extra accommodation such as caravans or motorhomes must be included in your guest party when you book.
3.The owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises. The Homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise.

4.The guest will keep the property and all furnishings clean and in good order.
5.Only use appliances for their intended uses.
6.Report any damage upon arrival or during your stay to property management.
7.Pets are allowed at this property but must remain outside (please note that the property is not fenced). Pets inside the house strictly by prior arrangement with property management.
8.There is no housekeeping service. Upon vacation of the property it is asked that you:
a.Wash, dry and put away your dishes,
b.Empty any rubbish bins; and
c.Give the property a general tidy
Failure to follow the above cleaning items may incur a cleaning fee, which will be taken out of your security deposit.
9.Water and Septic: The property has a septic sewerage system. The septic system is very effective; however, it will block if improper material is flushed. DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper. No feminine products should be flushed at any time. If it is found that feminine products have been flushed and block the septic system, you could be charged for the maintenance costs incurred. This property runs on tank water only and as such, water conservation is encouraged. The properties water usage is monitored and excessive water usage for boats/cars/vans or similar use is prohibited. Washing boat motors and rising off salt water is acceptable.
10. Bad weather: In the event of bad weather preventing you access to the property, your booking will be fully refunded subject to approval from property management.
11.Nightly Tariff:
The following outlines the nightly tariff rate inclusions for the property:
Base rate: up to 4 people
Additional person: $10 per person per night.
Extra vehicle (eg: Caravan): $15 per night, subject to approval by the homeowner.
These rates are a flat fee regardless of low, mid or peak season.
Note: Any extra persons or vehicles staying at the property which are not declared in the guest rental agreement shall have the value of their stay taken from the security deposit.
