Translation to English: The summer houses are only 100 meters from the water. There is a truly wonderful view, separated only by a protected beach meadow. The two houses are situated on a wooden bridge, elevated 1 meter above the ground.
One house consists of one large room, and the other has a kitchen-dining area along with two double bedrooms. Both houses have a toilet and a bathroom. There is nice private garden - the area very peaceful.
Architect Mette Lange - furnished by Anders Linnet.
The space
The houses have a lovely view of the water, separated only by a protected beach meadow. The two houses together have an area of 180m2 and are located on a secluded 2500m2 plot.
The houses are very unique, with careful consideration given to the fantastic view of Bøgestrømmen. They are furnished in a very unconventional manner, including furniture brought back from travels in India and Africa. There is plenty of art on the walls and a number of life-sized sculptures in the garden.
One house, Spættevej 11, is 100m2 and consists of a large room with a centrally placed wood stove. There is direct access to a bathroom with a shower, bathtub, toilet, and washing machine. One side of the room faces the water view. The room has a lovely double bed, a large work desk, and serves as the "master bedroom." The size of the room allows for the possibility of setting up 2 extra sleeping places. These are not made up, but bed linen is available, allowing for accommodation for 8 people in the two houses.
The second house, Spættevej no. 9, is 90m2 and includes a large, delightful kitchen-dining area with a dishwasher, refrigerator, gas stove, etc., as well as a wood stove. This house also has 2 double bedrooms and a smaller bathroom with a sea view, shower, and toilet. The area is very quiet, and there are almost exclusively people with connections to the summer house area. The shoreline is overgrown with reeds, and there is abundant bird and animal life in the beach meadow.
Note: If you are into kayaking, SUP boarding, kitesurfing, or similar activities, the calm water is very suitable and safe, but equipment is not provided.
Guest access
Guests have access to both houses. There is free access to firewood, but it is NOT allowed to light a fire in the garden. The owner keeps their clothes in closets behind a long wooden wall in the house, Spættevej 11. Guests have access to 2 older bicycles. There is no access to the garage and workshop. Note: There is a locked gun cabinet in the small bedroom at Spættevej 9.
Other things to note
Cleaning cannot be provided after the stay, as it is impossible to find local cleaning assistance. Cleaning supplies are available, along with a manual for their use.
Personal reception upon arrival and departure cannot always be expected as I am on a sailing trip in my boat. There is a key box for the house - the code and location will be provided in connection with the booking.
The manual is in the house, Spættevej 9. I have made an effort, through words and pictures, to make it easy to navigate the houses and to return them in the same condition as they were received.
Guests pay for electricity consumption during their stay. Electricity meters are read at check-in and check-out and communicated to the owner via email. Electricity consumption is paid in cash in DKK or €. The payment method is described in the house manual.
I can be contacted throughout the process via mobile, SMS, and email. In case of specific problems, there is an option for backup support.
