Veronique and her husband were friendly and welcoming. She stocked the fridge with eggs from her hens, a bottle of rosé , orange juice and milk as well as some bread and croissants. The chalet was clean , cozy and had all the conveniences of home, except a TV. (While it was nice to have peace and quiet, it would have been nice to have a small TV sometimes.) The balcony was set up for dining and it was nice to sit out there while eating our meals.

On arrival Veronique made us so welcome and we immediately felt at home. The chalet is just perfect and set in the most gorgeous location over looking a forest. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it to others.

After excellent and friendly communication we were received by a smiling Veronique & Billy at their charming cabin. A bottle of rosé for a first night apero in the fridge and fresh croissants and eggs from their hens made the arrival that bit more special. The Cabin was more beautiful than the photos and depsite being simply furnished and equipped, was better set up than my actual apartment! Tranquil and lovely setting with nothing but the sound of cicadas and a friendly hen that popped in one afternoon to say hello. Given a choice I would have never left, I would recommend to anyone and I would go back without hesitation, a highlight of the holiday.

If you are ever visting the Provence and you are looking for a wonderful place to stay, go to Veronique's place. We absolutely loved it! When we arrived, Veronique surprised us with fresh eggs from the hens, some wine in the fridge, etc. It's quiet and the view is amazing. It's nice to see the hens, who are enjoying there time outside. We loved to cool down and relax at the small swimmin pool after a hot day. Aix-en-Provence is also a beautiful city to visit and explore. Thanks Veronique for the great stay, it was absolutely great!

Veronique and her husband both came up the forest path to greet us. They could not have been more hospitable. Veronique showed us round the delightful chalet from the sunbathed verandah complete with deckchairs and dining table and chairs, to the interior which was sublime. A beautifully made up double bed with crisp white Egyptian cotton duvet and pillowcases to the antique armoire for clothing, and a beautiful antique arm chair. A very compact kitchen with everything you need including a little percolator and ground coffee. In the shower room a lovely sink and shower which proved to have a powerful jet. Just what is needed after a hot day exploring the beautiful countryside of Provence. Veronique went further than we ever expected by supplying us with a ready chilled bottle of rose wine to drink on our arrival not to mention eggs from her own hens, and later on she brought down fresh croissants for our breakfast. Truly a wonderful hostess and the female touch is oh so important. The backdrop to the chalet was heavenly with doves cooing in the tall trees round about. Bats to be seen at dusk and rabbits frolicking in the early morning. Her description was accurate regarding the chalet's setting, just a little sorry I couldn't explore further into the woods. This does not in any way detract from the heavenly utterly restful and highly recommended sojourn. I'd advise you to book your holiday immediately! Best wishes to Veronique and her family with lots of good wishes from Jo and Colin; Northern Ireland.
