The space

We're watching the euro get weaker by the moment and for those traveling based on U.S., Australian or Canadian dollars, this is a godsend. The euro is at an 11-year low against the dollar and is marked as one of the most dramatic periods in the history of currency trading. We're seeing a real comeback by tourists whose greenbacks will get them a whole lot further on European soil.
We are located in the sought after Latin Quarter/St. Germain arrondissement, one of Paris's most prime locations near shopping, restaurants, museums and monuments.
Winter has arrived in Paris and the city of lights is in full swing. The days are crisp and bright with cool evenings, perfect for strolling the banks of the Seine amongst all the activities. With business back to usual and University students preparing for finals there is electricity in the air and plenty of taste and style in the streets. Decorations adorn the shops and seasonal products fill the boutiques with articles for sale as the season is alive. The air carries a mixture of bright colors and comforting odors from the boulangeries with their fresh baked croissants & breads to warm and entice the senses while the smell of seasonal flowers and fall leaves in the Luxembourg Gardens press you onward toward home where the retreat of a warm apartment can be a welcome comfort for memories to last a life time.
Welcome to Paris-Latin-Quarters, a family townhouse run by Robert Reuter in the heart of the Latin Quarter. Here you will find us, perched on the slopes of St. Genevieve where the Pantheon dominates the hilltop and the bustle of cafe life and academia of the Sorbonne has thrived for centuries.

Decorated in contemporary period complimented with modern amenities and equipped with all the appliances you will need. You'll be received in a manner to make you feel as if you are a part of the city. This apartment measures 420 sq. feet.

High Speed Internet access and wireless ready. Free international phone calls to the US and US cell phones, Canada and Canadian cell phones plus 90 other countries including the EU. Cable television with over a dozen language channels, English language channels include CNN, CNBC, BBC, Bloomberg and more. All linens, bath towels, washing machine/dryer, oven with ceramic halogen burners, dish washer, fridge, CD/stereo, shower, hair dryer, iron & board and phone with answering machine included.

Travel deals should be abundant throughout the year, and likely into 2017. A competitive travel market is a boon for travelers, so take advantage of the weak euro while you can! As Paris is the most visited city in the world the 3% downturn in travel might just make your visit a little less crowded and a little more personal.

With 16 years experience in accommodating travelers to the best vacations of their lives, I look forward to making your upcoming trip comfortable and memorable.

Kind regards,
Robert Reuter

I highly recommend Robert's place. The place is amazing and so is the host.

Robert was a delightful host who was very gracious about our arrival and departure times, met us upon arrival, showed us the ropes of the apartment and lives in the building so is available for any need. The flat was just as described, a typically-Parisian small footprint but with every amenity you could hope for (including robes!), plus comfortable beds and great water pressure. Our family of four (including two large teenagers) managed just fine in the space, although we spent most of our time out and about. The Latin Quartier is a wonderful part of Paris to explore (shops, restaurants, Musee de Cluny, Pantheon), with easy access to public transportation to take you all over the city. I highly recommend Robert as a host and his very sweet flat as a place to stay!

My friends and I loved staying in Robert's Airbnb. He and Peter were excellent hosts. Robert stayed in close communication and offered tons of helpful information both before the trip and answered all our questions during. He was always available for anything we needed. Robert manages other Airbnbs in the building so we always felt very safe both in the building and neighborhood. I would definitely stay in Robert's Airbnb if I came back to Paris. Highly recommend!

For our party of 3 Robert's apartment was perfect for our traveling needs; ideally located to access the metro and a convenient walk for the many high quality restaurant choices, market stands, delicious pastries and absorbing the local scene. Robert is superbly helpful; delightful historian and host. The apartment space cozy, comfortable beds, and the ambiance holds much character to enjoy.

I spent four nights with my family (my wife, girls of 4 and 2 years) in the apartment and ten more by myself for business reasons. We really enjoyed our stay. Robert is a great host, very friendly and always helpful. We were on the top floor, the stairs (no elevator) are a good everyday fitness lesson. If you have a stroller, you can leave it downstairs. The apartment is big enough for two adults and two kids. The kids can sleep in a big bed in the living room. There is also a baby bad available. The kitchen is small and practical, good for breakfast or small meals, not for haute cuisine. The internet connection is pretty good. The location, just two blocks away from the beautiful Jardin du Luxembourg, is fantastic. We can absolutely recommend Robert's apartment.
