About this listing
This is a fantastic apartment in a fantastic location! You get a PRIVATE ROOM, a PRIVATE GUEST ENTRANCE, queen bed, and the fastest wireless internet available! The apartment features a big kitchen, fully stocked and perfect for cooking, clean bathroom, extreme privacy! Market next door! I am also rarely home so you may get the apartment to yourself a lot!
Comfy queen bed, blackout curtains, nature view! Also a computer desk and chair that you can use for your laptop or to eat or read books.
The bedroom is very exclusive, also I will provide electric heater just in case for cold nights and a portable AC for hot days. Now the closet is the true perk - IT"S HUGE! You get towels, bed sheets, comforter, pillows!
Also note that this is an OLD BUILDING - which means it will never look like a five star hotel if you are used to that type of thing. The tiles in the bathroom and kitchen floors are old and have stains, and no matter how much I clean they just have that worn out look to them.
Guests have access to the bathroom right outside their door and kitchen! Another huge perk is the exclusive exit - which means you don't have to interact with me or anybody in your comings and goings. The exit door is right by the kitchen, and is for guests only. That's your private door!
Interaction with guests
Sometimes I am home, sometimes I am not. I travel often - but I'll let you know when I am around. You can always reach me anytime. And if I am home, we can talk about life and maybe if I am free I can show you a bit of the city or drive you to do groceries!
You can walk to Ventura BLVD and downtown Studio City which is amazing full of stores and restaurants! Okay let me list the highlights:
*walk to "Aroma Cafe" on Tujunga Ave, the most incredible place for coffee and food all day!
*walk to FIREFLY down the street, which is known because George Clooney is part owner, great bar and restaurant!
*MARKET next door, you can buy food, booze, anything right outside!
*CBS Studios also walking distance, if you need to work there.
*The gorgeous beyond belief LA RIVER is also right outside, you can stare at its concrete walls and shallow creek and be befuddled that once the liquid metal cyborg T-1000 giant truck chased the Terminator and John Connor on their Harley...
*LA Fitness about a mile away on Ventura Blvd!
*5 min drive to FRYMAN CANYON, an amazing hike place with great views!
*5 min drive to UNIVERSAL STUDIOS, CITY WALK, etc
*10 min drive to Hollywood, Griffith Park! Don't miss the Griffith Observatory!
*25 min drive to Santa Monica if you skip heavy traffic hours... but beware, LA traffic sometimes doesn't respect rush hours too much.
The METRO (SUBWAY if you prefer that term, like me reminiscing my New York days) at the UNIVERSAL STUDIOS STOP, RED LINE is about a mile away, you can power walk or get there easily and park for free if you need. If you have a car you can find easy parking outside the building, no parking restrictions!
Other things to note
There's an amazing market right outside! You can literally walk right outside to get anything from food, booze, medicine, tampons, desserts, wine, beer, spirits - but I go there often mostly for KitKats.
Please silence after 10 pm. And if you are messy, it's okay but just keep it for your room, and clean up before you leave. I have cleaning supplies handy if you need it. Pets are welcome! But clean after it!
Cancel up to 5 days before your trip and get a full refund, including service fees.

Hi there, I am a positive outgoing person, who loves to meet new people - and be helpful. I have lived in America for over 10 years now (I am originally from Brazil, now an American Citizen).
I appreciate the help I received when I first moved to the US back in 2003, and lived in New York - and now I give back by helping others.
I love traveling and here a few amazing things I've experienced:
Climbing the EIFFEL TOWER using the stairs and the view I got from above, awestruck!
When I visited YOSEMITE park... oh yes, amazing!
FERNANDO DE NORONHA, Brazil, the most beautiful Island in the world, for sure!
Snorkeling with seals in SAN DIEGO!
Going to CANNES for the festival with a movie, amazing!
Walking around the canals of BRUGES and thinking I am in that movie "In Bruges"...
Walking down PIOTRKOWSKA in POLAND, just because...
Having an awful beer in WARSAW and loving to hate it...
Catching the Flu in the BAHAMAS.... ouch!
Diving in SAINT MARTIN and finding a sea cave, but having to take mental pictures because I didn't have a camera on me...
