Nausika's properties are second to none on the island. If you have the good fortune of staying at Skinopi Lodge or Nausika B&B, you're gauranteed to have a unique, authentic, and life-enhancing experience in Milos. The properties themselves are immaculate (everything has been thought of) and the taste level is unparrelleled on the island (think more like Amalfi or Santorini) but most important is the hostess. Nausika has thought of everything (including arranging for a special fleet of automatic 4x4 jeeps for getting around all of the island's bumpy side roads - follow her instructions on this), the best beaches, and the best meals on the island. If you stay at Skinopi Lodge, you also have a small outdoor kitchen which was great for enjoying breakfast and dinner with the beautiful views. Could not recommend Skinopi Lodge more!

Have you ever stayed in a place that was so nice that it felt like a shame to go out and explore a lovely piece of countryside? Milos is a wonderful island but Skinopi Lodge is truly the jewel in the crown that is the island. It is so peaceful and perfectly integrated into the natural landscape. If you are interested in architecture or modern design, that sensitivity to site and the minimalist aesthetic will wow you. We were a little concerned that the Skinopi fishing village (very cute and peaceful itself) is quite close to the main port but it’s sheltered in its own cove and the port is completely hidden. In fact, all the sailboats coming and going during the day are really fun to watch and give the occasional wave to. Looking forward to visiting someday again.

Down a narrow and bumpy dirt road, you'll find a little piece of heaven in skinopi lodge. Nausika could not be a more gracious, communicative, and thoughtful host, and she has certainly proven her fantastic taste in every design detail of skinopi. Do not expect to be close to much of anything (other than a stunning view of sailboats heading out in the morning and spectacular "sky is on fire" sunsets at night), but for us, the rugged drive in gave the place part of its charm. Breakfast on the patio in the morning and an outdoor shower after exploring some of Milos' 75 beaches during the day were two of our most favorite parts of staying here. Other basics: Comfy bed, fluffy pillows, great water pressure, very clean, all amenities (hairdryer, coffee maker, refrigerator, hangers, etc.) you need.

Nausika was AMAZING! Super helpful host with the best recommendations. The lodge is super peaceful and has a breathtaking view. Be advised that the route to reach the room in on a dirt road so a 4x4 is a necessary (as recommended by Nausika)

We stayed at Nausika's for three nights and would have happily stayed much longer. The lodge is simply but beautifully designed, and the location is absolutely breathtaking and very peaceful. The icing on the cake, however, is Nausika's attentiveness; she responded almost immediately to every request we had and had very helpful food and beach recommendations. She also booked us a great table at sunset in a nearby restaurant and provided a lovely breakfast on two of the days we were there. Would highly recommend this place to anyone coming to Milos!

I love to travel the world and in summer, the Greek islands. I first came to Milos as a teenager and kept coming back every year, finally buying a beautiful old house which I spent years restoring and turning into a b&b. I love to share this house with my guests and introduce them to the amazing natural beauty of my unique island and its people. For me, paradise is summer in my boat with old and new friends discovering yet another secret cove around the Cyclades.
