Great place with very welcoming hostess. Log fire and super relaxation room made the place. Wish we could have stayed another night to experience the grounds. Well done Mary and Eamon - a class product! Hopefully we will be back

Highly recommended place to stay. Mary's home is in a lovely setting with easy access to Croagh Patrick. Only a few minutes to Westport. Other sites including the Burren and the Cliffs of Moher are not far away. Mary's home is warm and inviting. She prepares a fine breakfast with homemade bread. Very comfortable beds. Open your window and hear the Owenwee river serenade you to sleep. Can't wait to go back!

A really idyllic setting offers peace and quiet on the doorstep of Westport. A homely welcome awaits their guests. Spacious bedrooms and the use of a very comfortable sitting room with a log fire burning add to the relaxing ambience. Thank you both for making us feel so welcome and taking such great care to ensure our stay was relaxing.

This is a magical place. With a river running alongside the property, a well kept lawn to relax on, and some very friendly dogs who love to chase sticks, we had a wonderful stay here. Mary was a great host - always friendly and keen to make sure we were OK but perceptive enough to know we didn't need much looking after. We'll definitely be back next year!

Mary User ProfileMary is a superhost.

I am a musician, I'm from Belfast and I moved to the West of Ireland recently. I love my music and love performing at various functions and concerts.
I love the outdoor life which includes attempts at running every morning through the beautiful local woodlands here. Also short rows on the nearby river, trampolining, sailing and swimming in the sea with my two lovely girls. I sought the quiet life after a hectic city lifestyle and found this dream home.
This location is a perfect silent and friendly place to travel from and explore all outdoor pursuits.
