About this listing

Come stay in my lovely Arts & Crafts bungalow when you are visiting Ann Arbor. The house is on the bus line and just a one mile walk to Liberty and Main Streets. Free parking available. The bed will sleep two snuggly, but more comfie for a single.

The space

Cozy first floor bedroom with a double bed, chest of drawers and closet for your use. Blackout shades for anyone who needs to sleep in. Full shared bathroom adjacent to the room - a bathrobe is provided. You are sharing the house with me and Louie, my Border Collie mix pup. Occasionally I host other guests on the first and/or second floor. In general, please assume there will be other people in the house during your stay.

Guest access

Access to living room, dining room and kitchen. When the weather is nice, there is a furnished front porch and furnished deck in the backyard. There is room for one car to park in the driveway. Please confirm that there is space when booking your stay. If not, there is ample street parking (no time limit) only one house away.

Interaction with guests

I am available at various times, but can always be reached by phone or text with questions.

Other things to note

I am an early riser. I try very hard not to make much noise, but the house is old and creaky floors and rattly pipes are part of the charm. Louie is the handsome pup who has roam of the house or yard when I am home. He will be kenneled or with me when I am away.

Christine was a wonderful host. Easy to communicate with, a very friendly and positive person. We enjoyed chatting with her. The house is charming and located in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood, a short walk from downtown. We'd stay with Christine again if we come back to Ann Arbor.

Great place to stay. Within walking distance of the downtown area. Christine is friendly and the house is a nice older home - the room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. Her rescue dog is a little loud but only when you're coming or going, but he's friendly and young and learning! We enjoyed our visit and would stay again!

Christine was a great host, excellent fun and has a lovely home. Louie is a loveable dog so if you love canines this is the place. Her place is quiet and well kept with great bus links to the center of AA. Its also a short walk to town. Of the four places I stayed in AA thus year, hers was by far the best and thoroughly recommended. Thanks Christine!

I stayed at Christine's for 12 days when relocating to Ann Arbor. It was fantastic! One of my best Airbnb stays ever (and I've stayed with a lot). She's an amazing host, very welcoming, helpful, great to chat with. Her dog Louie is fun, irresistible to throw a ball for! The house very charming, well decorated, clean. Great location close to downtown. Thanks for a great stay! I highly recommend Christine's place.
