The property can comfortably host 5 people. It's toddler friendly, see the picture of the deck and outside stairs. Enjoy the breathtaking views everywhere you turn. It's a serene, clamming place to get away from everyday stress even though it has all the amenities and comforts of civilization nearby. Vashon is also a beautiful island for riding bicycles and going o day trips! Come and enjoy the views for a relaxing weekend break. Enjoy walking on the beach, clamming, crabbing and salmon fishing.

Everything awesome Great getaway to a very secluded place very close to Seattle Kids loved running around the beach. Grown ups loved the sunset and having wine on the deck.

This is a lovely rustic BEACH house, not fancy but the view and the beach are awesome! Arriving in the the light is a MUST! It would be almost impossible to find at dark and figure out parking. If you can't deal with steps, this is not the place for you and the steps going down to the house are steep and not level. If you are to book after us , you will have a clean kitchen because it was so dirty we cleaned everything. Most of the windows don't lock and many don't have screens. Both deck doors don't latch or lock. All that being said, the location is top notch and the views are amazing. With a few improvements to the cleanliness and safety issues, we would have rated it a 5.

Unforgettable location, right on the water! Views of Mt. Rainier from the beach when the tide goes out. The kayaks & canoes are a nice touch & were fun to use on the sound. The cabin layout + guest house easily accommodated our 8 guests. There are lots of stairs (a given with the location), but our 4 year old had no problem getting around. We would stay again!

This house has a great location and beautiful view! We enjoyed our stay, but did find the house to be quite dirty as mentioned in many of the reviews. Additionally, we had some issues locating the keys when checking into the house. Please be aware that the house only has 3 beds (2 queens, 1 single), which was difficult to determine from the listing.

We stayed at this place for two days and it was great their were kayaks for us to use and was right on the beach. We also loved to watch the movies that came with house. But the house was 20 mins away from the downtown area of Vashon and you need to pay to get on to the ferry to get to the island. If you are scared of spiders one of them decided to jump down from the ceiling into our dinner. But over all a great place if your looking for a nice quiet relaxing stay at the beach

We stayed at Calen's quirky little beach house on the water for a girls weekend away and just LOVED it! The space was clean, bright and unique, and located directly on the beach! It was a quiet location, perfect for resting up after wine tasting on the island. Would recommend to friends for sure!

Nice cabin on a beautiful island. For those looking for luxury, the cabin itself is a bit rustic (no wifi), however it supplied us with everything we needed during out stay. Provided kayaks and canoes were a hit, and they have an awesome bbq and view of the sound. Host was helpful and responsive - we had a few issues checking in, but it was resolved quickly. For those of you unfamiliar to Vashon Island, transport is limited, so renting a car or having access to one is pretty necessary (true for pretty much all the island).
