You will stay safely in a separate apartment with its own entrance. Quiet location on the shore of the beautiful Ylä-Juumajärvi, about 2 km from Juuma village, 3 km from Pieni Karhunkierros, near Oulanka National Park. Nearby are wonderful nature sites: Karhunkierrokset, Riisitunturi, Ruka, Kiutaköngäs, etc. You can make day trips to nearby destinations. The beach sauna is at your disposal and we will advise you on how to heat it. WiFi available. The price includes linens and towels for three.

The space
The spacious 60-square-meter wooden-panelled apartment includes a bedroom, a cozy corner with a sofa and an electric fireplace, a well-equipped kitchen, a toilet and a shower. Entrance through your own covered terrace. A washing machine with allergy detergent is also available. We are the only year-round residents of Ylä-Juumajärvi, so peace in nature is guaranteed.

Check-in is easy because the owner lives downstairs. 4.5 ha yard freely available for outdoor activities.

My hobbies are all related to nature.I pick berries,mushrooms,herbs and I like fishing,also in the wintertime.Our accommodation offers You privacy but we are there for You when ever needed.I was born in this village Juuma.Therefore my knowledge about conditions and tracks here are at Your service. One of my favourite hobbies is cross-country skiing, best time for that is in April when we have lots of snow and sun. In Juuma You can ski on the Karhunkierros tracks. In winter time I feed birds, You may observe them from Your window.In spring there are lots of birds which are moving to the North and they just make a small brake at our back yard. Our apartment offers You all modern facilities and the sauna by the lake also offers You a real Finnish sauna experience.
