The metro is very close and very cheap and easy to use making it a great location for seeing the sights of Rome. The place is beautifully decorated with a lot of interesting pieces, full of character. Unfortunately we struggled to get a good nights sleep because of building works going on above us and it was very hot due to a lack of air conditioning. There was a ceiling fan but the wiring was loose and would spark when it was turned on so we went without. Loved having our breakfast on the terrace in the mornings.

Hot water didn't work. Wifi only after we got the keys to a different apartment to reboot it. Further away from the city as listed in the description. Host rarely / late answered our messages

We had a really good time staying in Rome for a month. The trip started well. Fiamma let us check in early. This made a big difference. She even drove us to the shops to get food on a day when many things were closed. We really appreciated this. The apartment is great for relaxing. It's big and close to lots of beautiful places to walk. Transport into the city is also easy. Shops are also quite close. One thing we struggled with a lot was the mosquitoes. They were everywhere. We tried lots of different ways to get rid of them (spray, wall plug in etc.) and none of them seemed to work. We ended up buying a net. This gave us some peace at night. If you're going in the hotter months, be very conscious of tis and come prepared. Other than that you'll have a great stay. Enjoy.

Fiamma is a great host. We had no problems checking in or out. The location is good, 10 minutes walk from the metro or buses. There was some food left for us in the fridge. The place is huge, it was a bit dusty but I recommend it anyways.

I would put good money on Fiamma's place being the funkiest furnished in all of Rome. The photo's don't do justice to the cool and quirky vintage furniture and Fiamma is a great host and has fantastic suggestions for the area. For the price this is a fantastic place to stay if your staying in Rome for an extended visit. From the apartment it's a 10 minute walk to the station and then a 10 minute train journey to the center of Rome. While the area is residential and super quiet the apartment is on the ground floor and as noted by another reviewer you can hear noise from the adjoining apartments.
