Center of Old Town! Renovated two-bedroom apartment for 2 to 6 - bedrooms are upstairs and kitchen/living room downstairs. You'll be only 200 meters away from Town Hall Square, but without the noise - a rarity in Old Town - all the windows face a small gated courtyard.

The space

Recently renovated 60+ sq meter apartment with 2 bedrooms upstairs and a large living room/kitchen downstairs. Very clean, lots of sun and air - welcome to your new home in medieval Tallinn - fully furnished and ready for a group of friends or a large family.
There's a king size (180x200) bed in the larger bedroom and a queen-size (160x200) in the smaller one.
NB! White couch that's in the photos in the living room was broken and has been replaced with a slightly smaller grey one that also unfolds into a double bed, plus a matching armchair with a footstool. We can also bring a baby crib or an air mattress if you need one.
The kitchen has all the dishes and utensils, a dishwasher, coffeemachine and teapot. Wifi and cable TV are included, as well as a washing machine.
There's no elevator, but the apartment is only 10 stairs up - on first and second floors, all windows face a quiet gated courtyard. The house was first built in late 17th century, but has been remodelled a few times since.

We were met by Katja and shown around the apartment. The apartment itself was beautiful and the location fantastic as it was a short walk into the old town square but hidden from the street in its own courtyard so very quiet at night. Would highly recommend this place.

Comfortable apartment, and very convenient for the Old Town. Katya met us and was very helpful. The one issue we had was with the toilet on the first floor, and steep stairs up to the second floor. Potential hazard with older clients and children.

The location of the apartment is excellent. It is in the old town with perfect amenities and still quiet as has own entrance. The check in and check out process was simple and informative. The apartment was spacious and well equipped for a family of four. Our children are age 10 and 8. I would be worried if my children were younger as the top of the stairs is very open but this was not a problem for us. I had some problem sleeping as there are no blinds/curtains and it gets light very early but my husband did not find this an issue. Overall a great stay.

This is a good, quiet base from which to explore the historic town of Tallinn. A small, clean and comfortable apartment with interesting stone features and good facilities: comfortable, clean beds and sofa bed; good wifi; tv and radio; small hob just right for cooked breakfasts; small dishwasher; toilet on same level as kitchen and dining/seating area with sofa bed; shower room on same floor as the 2 bedrooms (when you flush the toilet the water pressure in the shower will drop); table and chairs for 4; large fridge with small freezer section; hairdryer; iron, board and washing machine (we did not need to use these); good lighting; opening windows (no curtains on windows, but a blind in the shower room). The main town square and all of the beautiful cobbled streets are a short stroll away from the front door, generally flat streets (apart from the cobbles), a few gentle inclines, unless you take the stepped walk up to the viewing areas overlooking the roof tops. You need to explore on foot - there is a small tourist 'train' and bicycle tours but be aware these ride on cobbles so it is a bumpy ride! There is a small 24hr food grocery shop a few minutes walk up the road from the apartment. The Italian restaurant next door is nice and reasonably priced. About a 20 minute walk away is the bus terminal (under the main shopping centre) and we took a bus ride to beautiful, white sandy Pirita beach - 20 minute journey, 2 euros on the bus. The airport was about 20 minutes by taxi and the fare ranged from 10 to 16 euros - easy to book a taxi online. The entrance to the apartment via the gated communal courtyard is not beautiful, housing the communal bins, but this is a small price to play for peace, security and seclusion. We were able to leave behind the crowds and noise of revelry in the evenings. We did awake early each morning as we visited in June when daylight hours are long, but it gave us more time to explore. The top three steps up to the apartment door and the top of the internal staircase would benefit from a handrail for those less steady on their feet. We did not meet Ilya but were greeted but Elena who had contacted us in advance to arrange to meet us outside the partment and was very pleasant and spoke good English. We had learned a few basic words of the local language, but practically everyone speaks English and all restaurants have translations on their menus - there are a lot of tourists in old Tallinn. We were very pleased to see live music on a stage in the town square and a craft market over the weekend. It is a very lively place and I would love to explore more of Tallinn. I would happily return.
