Perfect place for aurora borealis hunting. The jacuzzi has built in lights just in case the real northern lights are too shy to come out.1 of total 4 bedrooms, all rooms are identical and well soundproof.

We really enjoyed our stay at Þórunn’s cabin. We lucked out and had the entire place to ourselves!!!! The hot tub was absolutely perfect during the drizzly grey weather( my favorite kind). This was a convienient place for us to stay as a halfway point between golden circle and glacier lagoon. Þórunn was a great host and gave us a full tour upon arrival. Thank you for such a lovely Airbnb experience.

It's a nice chalet in the middle of the countryside, which you share with other people (there are 4 rooms in the chalet). The area around is very beautiful, but the place is really in the middle of nowhere, which makes it very difficult to find. The owner was totally unresponsive to our calls when we were lost for directions, and yet we had communicated her our expected arrival time. All in all, it took us more than one hour to find the place. Overall, we felt that the place was clearly overpriced for what you get - comfort is pretty standard (no bathrobes, no minibar, no amenities), yet the price is of a 5-star hotel. The Icelandair hotel in town had rooms that were half the price. For that price, we clearly had higher expectations, and we felt a bit ripped-off.

We love staying at the cabin in the beautiful landscape and waking up to only the sound of the sheeps outside :)

Lovely place with sauna & spa, great living area and kitchen and a very quiet picturesque location. The location could also be described as isolated and 10Km from shops. I also thought BnB implied breakfast, apparently not.

Really nice all wood interiors, with access to a full kitchen was very helpful - and the hot tub was nice at the end of a long drive... loved the views and the sheep, and check out was super easy :)

Thorunn's villa is luxury in the midst of nature's bliss. The villa overlooks a river in the middle of an exclusive farm with sheep grazing all around. Do enjoy the wonderful jacuzzi and the sauna on the property. And don't forget to try the wonderful lamb from her very own farm.

For over 20 years I have been living with my husband at farm Seglbúðir which is a paradise for nature lovers.
We built the villa in the year 2000 and have been welcoming fishermen and tourists to stay there ever since.
On the farm we have around 250 sheep, 20 horses and a small scale slaughterhouse. We also have a small power plant which makes enough electricity to run the farm.
I like taking care of the farm, reading, cross country skiing, spending time with my family and friends and enjoy the nature.
