Nice little flat in an excellent location. We were arriving early and leaving late the next day - Monica and JP were really accommodating to let us check-in early and leave our bags there for a while after check-out. Unfortunately, we didn't get to try the cafe breakfast, but the banana bread in the fridge was excellent. Thanks guys!

Very smooth check-in process, apartment was very spacious and in a great location - walking distance to all the local spots, parks etc. Loved having the coffee shop directly downstairs and availing of the complimentary coffee and breakfast. JP and Monica were very friendly hosts and I'd def stay again if in Sydney.

Darlinghursr as an area was really nice, there was a nice vibe, bars retardants etc. We mostly dealt with JP who was very nice. The flat itself is not ready and needs work. We were very disappointed as the photos on the site made it look very high quality finish but actually it is mostly done up cheap. 1. Bedroom did not have a window. You had to walk through the bedroom to the bathroom. This construction on wall and door was not to say the slightest very poorly made. Result that there was no privacy if you needed to use the toilet. Also if you would stay there and wait for people it would be unpleasant if you have to walk to somebody else's bedroom go into the bathroom can't even close the door and to door kept on opening. There what's on at the march special touches to any of the rooms which didn't make it feel homely. 2. Bathroom was poor. It was a shower cubicle placed in the small room. All very unstable and poor water pressure. There was a leak to start with and halfway through the week the valves of the showers came off with the consequence that water was flowing over floors. After an hours we could call the landlady who told me they could not do anything. This ended us in climbed on the room, climbing of a wall to close the mains. So no toilet, water anything. We had to wait we were told. 3. Living room was the best room. We moved the mattress from the bedroom into the living room. The living room was the only room with nice bright sunny light silver year rate rearranged the room but of course meant that you had to sleep on the floor on matters of course there was the lights from IKEAwhich was broken within A day as there was already a tear in the paper. Thekitchen was very poorly equipped no cleaning products normal no proper Hoover not one of those handheld through others kitchen was very poorly equipped no cleaning products no more no proper Hoover not one of those handheld Hoovers. Aestival flat exist of wooden planks on many places there are still splinters and her bits and Neils that you could hurt yourself on so you always had to wear flip-flops there was no extraction above the cooking. There are shelves missing from the fridge. In total there are four towels which in my opinion for 10 day stay it's clearly not enough. I would definitely not go back. I do feel we need to be compensated asked to price was quite high for the poor quality that we got

Response from Monica And JP:
We're very sorry that you guys were expecting a more than 5 star hotel and just got a boutique one bedroom apartment (just as our ad says). 1. Yes, as the ad says and as the picture shows, it is an ensuite, so you have to go to the bedroom to get to the bathroom. 2. Yes, it is an in-built perfectly good sized shower (as the picture shows), unfortunately at your stay the shower broke at midnight on easter weekend, so we couldn't do anything about it until the morning (Easter Day) that we managed to get someone to do a quick fix for the end of your stay. Now, it is all fixed and working properly. 3. Glad you liked the living room. 4. Again, sorry for not meeting your 5 star hotel expectations, the kitchen IS fully equipped with all the basic stuff people need to cook and serve. We DO have cleaning products and they were shown to you. We DO have a perfectly working Electrolux Ergorapido Cordless Stick vacuum cleaner, not sure what kind of "hoover" were you expecting. Four towels should be enough for the 2 people you said were checking in, and we have a washing machine and drying machine inside the bathroom including washing products, so you could wash and dry them as much as you needed. We're happy that we had other 5 happy guests before your stay, so hope people will understand you were just expecting too much, maybe next time book a hotel instead of using aribnb where people "share" their apartments/houses.

This was my best stay in Sydney so far. Everything went smooth. Monica and JP are excellent hosts. Try the bacon and egg rolls for breakfast!

The apartment is spacious! The kitchen is quite big and very well equipped, the living room is roomy with 2 sofas, and the bedroom is big enough for a double bed (which is very comfy) and some more space to spare. The TV comes with approx 100 recorded movies. The apartment is only 5 min walk from the lively Oxford Street. But Victoria Street where the apartment is located is also awesome in its own right with eateries from all over the world (Thai, Italian, Indian, Irish, etc), pubs and espresso bars. It's a joy strolling along Victoria Street to Kings Cross (5-8 min walk) in the evening. JP and Monica are wonderful hosts. They even offered breakfast at the espresso bar. Checking in and out were easy. I had an awesome time staying there. Thanks again, Monica & JP.!
