3500 sqft of luxury over 4 floors with offstreet parking, private garden & gym. This astonishing house has 4 private bedrooms (and the ability to turn the lounge into a further 5th bedroom) all complete with blackout blinds/curtains. There are 2 lounges (one "formal", one informal) as well as a massive kitchen & dining room. Local amenities are very close by and the house is only 30 mins (door to door) to the West End and Central London.

House Rules

*** First and foremost please have fun and enjoy my home! Below is a fairly (comprehensive) list of House Rules. They have been added to over time in response to previous feedback from other guests. They are not designed to be repetitive or overly strict - more just common sense. You will find some of this information elsewhere for ease of reference***

*Please remember that this is not a hotel or holiday rental - this is my home. Please treat it with respect and leave it as you found it. The property is only to be used for the purpose for which it has been booked.

*I welcome all bookings (including Hen groups etc), however, whilst some events are allowed (contact me) parties are strictly NOT appropriate at the house - it is a luxury home to be enjoyed peacefully as a base for your stay. Due to previous unfortunate incidents, at my discretion for some groups of 6 people or more there is a REFUNDABLE £300 supplement charged at the time of booking. This is to help ensure compliance with the House Rules but is refundable (excl. fees) should no issues arise. As an established Host with many 5 star reviews i welcome any questions you may have if this applies to you (NB. please note the website security deposit is NOT debited from your credit card unless a claim is made, whereas the supplement will be charged in advance).

*Loud music must be turned off/down by 9pm. Please do not play music or talk loudly outside in the garden past 9pm.

*Please do not take any drinks (except water) upstairs, cleaning fees will apply for stains.

*Smoking is allowed - OUTSIDE ONLY and please dispose of your butts in the ashtray provided.

*Please do not use any items in the kitchen that are in cupboards marked with a small green sticker as these are private.

*Ladies - please do not wear high heels on the wooden floors and please be careful when applying makeup near carpets!

*There are two cats at the property (allowed outside) and they have a naughty habit of sneaking into the guest bedrooms when the doors are left open (I normally keep the bedroom doors closed when not in use) - so please keep your bedroom door shut if you'd rather they didn't go inside. If you are going to close the bedroom doors, please ensure they are not hiding somewhere inside the room and are going to get trapped!

*The catflap is located in the corner of the informal lounge (by the kitchen) and the cats need 24hr access in/out the room so please leave at least 1 (of the 2) sets of doors open. The cats are allowed outside (including out the front door) so please don't panic if they run outside when you're coming/going.

*There are external & internal CCTV/Security Cameras at the property. They fully comply with UK government guidelines and are there for security and insurance reasons. There is a “CCTV in Operation” sign by the front door to the property (if this is absent please contact me immediately). They have tamper-proof features so please do not compromise the security of my apartment (or your belongings) by switching these off, unplugging them or touching them at any time as your stay might be invalidated and your security deposit/supplement forfeited.

*Extra guests/visitors beyond those booked at the original time of booking are strictly prohibited unless by prior agreement. Unauthorised guests will result in a £200 penalty per guest.

*You will find a pink folder on the breakfast bar in the kitchen. Please take the time to read it as this answers most questions. It also includes a damage report form - please fill it in on your arrival for any damage you see (beyond minor wear and tear). Please message me if you find any/cause any damage.

*There are two cats on the premises. Tommy (Beige) and Bertie (Grey). They do not need looking after as they have their own catflap and supply of food/water. They are allowed outside (including the front).

*If you would like to use the BBQ please book in advance (fees apply) - a £50 usage fee will apply if used without booking.

*Check out time is 11am (or as agreed) – please post the keys through the letterbox after setting the alarm and double locking the door. Late checkout incurs a £100 charge

*For groups of more than 6, the sofa bed and air beds are available free of charge. For groups of 6 or under, the sofa and air beds are available for £25 each per stay. Please note that for 13/14 guests, the final 2 guests will be using a sofa to sleep on and will need to bring their own bedding as none will be provided.

Very much enjoyed staying at this fantastic house - also very clean and tidy! Beautiful kitchen and bathrooms. Alastair is very quick to respond to any questions and made my stay very comfortable. Would highly recommend!

Alastair's profile and property details page tell you everything you need to know about this property. The info is fully comprehensive yet no question is a bother for him if you are unsure on something specific. He is prompt at replying and able to resolve all issues remotely and quickly. If you rent this property you wont be disappointed - the photos are very accurate! Also, lovely smelling bed linen and towels (v important to me!) and the property was very clean throughout. The added bonus of two adorable cats at the property really made it feel like a home away from home! Strongly recommended by a very fussy airbnb guest!

The house is beautiful! We had a hen do with 10 girls for the night and everything was exactly as discussed and expected. Alastair was great with all communication and made the whole process very easy. Would highly recommend!

This is a beautiful homely place to stay for a big group. We had a group of 8 with some additional day guests which we had informed Alastair about. What you see on the advert is what you get. The host Alastair was brilliant. He was so accommodating and excellent at communicating and very patient with my technology challenged family when we, required additional help to download an app. He came up with the solution though, no bother. His instructions were concise and clear which made checking in and out really easy. He remotely helped us with some things like the alarm to make it even easier for us to enter the property. The alarm was actually very straight forward to set when it came to doing it ourselves. We 100% recommend this as place to stay and Alastair as a great host. Thank you so much for a top weekend!

Alistair's house is beautiful! It's in a quiet neighbourhood and is a gorgeous place to relax and enjoy comfortable surroundings. We wanted to host a dinner in the house on the evening of our stay and after explaining to Alistair he was very helpful and understanding. You cannot help but enjoy your time on his home! He is an attentive and helpful host, willing to be flexible and attentive to his guests.
