A great base location for sightseeing, antiquing, leaf-peeping, all that Mid-Coast Maine is known for. The bed was comfy, and the hosts are gracious and fascinating.

Our hosts were very welcoming, and the rooms were just as in the photos. We wondered how it would be to share their house but they made us feel at home. We were glad to have the washer and dryer as we'd just been on an island for a week. There was a sheet of instructions for Internet access, the TV, kitchen, and an outdoor grill. We were encouraged to use the whole space and not confine ourselves to our rooms. There were several long conversations among all of us in regards to our past experiences, work histories, present involvements, politics, and the like. We were given a tour of their art gallery and their work studio, all within the home. Could not have been more ideal in its proximity to our island work-site or the many attractions in the area.

Winslow was welcoming and responsive without being intrusive. The room was comfortable and tasteful; Winslow and Patti's paintings were on the walls. The location worked well for us - close to our favorite ocean spots and town. In the morning, we enjoyed seeing more paintings in the gallery and great conversation over coffee.

Patti was a friendly and communicative host - while we didn't get to meet her in person and interacted with her husband (equally kind and helpful), it was a very comfortable experience. The home is in a very peaceful location, the room was clean, quiet, and well-lit, with a great bed and fresh flowers in the room. Bathroom was equally clean and steps away from the bedroom. Kitchen and the rest of the home were beautifully decorated with art and added to the experience.

Patti and Winslow's home was as described; comfortable, convenient, and cozy! Our bed was comfortable, there were plenty of extra blankets and lots of fluffy towels!

Patti was reachable and the accommodations were perfect! The residence is tucked away and cell service is limited, so wifi access was appreciated.

We stayed 3 nights at Patti's home while in Maine and loved it! It's very comfortable, spacious and quiet. The bedroom was super comfortable and bright, i love waking up to the (URL HIDDEN) favorite part was the large back deck which was perfect for having coffee in the morning, dinner in the evening, watching birds or laying out and reading. Patti and Winslow were so sweet and always available if we needed anything (even though they were away on their own vacation while we stayed in the their home!) They even left us a bottle of champagne as they knew we were in Maine for our wedding! Their home is very centrally located to adorable Pemaquid, Darimascotta and not too far from Boothbay. We loved our stay and would definitely stay there again!

Winslow and I are both artists, who spend our time outdoors, hiking, kayaking, gardening, and traveling, when not painting. Our home is open, bright and cheery with two studio spaces. We are happy to share our knowledge of the area we love to live in.
