Wonderful weekend get away in the mountains. View into the valley was spectacular. The house was large, easy to warm and beautifully maintained. Perfect for the 8 of us (2 families). The teenagers loved rambling through the rooms and garden. Kitchen stocked with all the equipment to cook a 5 star meal and serve it to 8 people in a spacious dinning room. Spoilt with the Sheridian towels and fluffy, soft bedlinen. Loved falling asleep on the large sofa in front of the fireplace. Great stay, rejuvenated the spirits of all. Lewis is a great, reliable host.

We had a great time staying at this grand old house. Lewis was very easy to liaise with. Great location, a short walk from the Hydro Majestic for some evening cocktails with a breathtaking view, and the new Synonymous cafe for breakfast. House itself is large, unique and fascinating and functional.

Beautiful spot in the blue mountains overlooking the valley. Perfect for families, a bit dearer than other Airbnbs but we'll worth the money.

Wow, what a place!!! We stayed here for a weekend away for my parent's 60ths and it was everything we wanted and more. The house is beautifully presented with amazing furnishings and super comfy beds. If there is a few of you, don't worry, the house is huge with spaces for everyone. And the view is pretty spectacular as well! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Lewis made our large family gathering a breeze. The location was lovely (what a view), the house was delightful - large but kept warm and toasty the whole time. Bedrooms are cosy, with big fluffy white towels provided as well as fresh flowers. The kitchen was ample for our use (which was a lot). Lewis was alway quick to reply to messages, and always very helpful! Hope to enjoy the house again next year!
