Very pleasant flat, well situated : close to the sea and to the center of Xlendi. (5min walk). Leon came to the ferry station to pick us up and drive us to the flat. He gave us advises and informations about shops, diving spot..... Our stay in Xlendi was amazing, we definitly recommand this flat.

Our host was very hospitable and easy to contact. When our bus from the airport was delayed, Leon picked us up from the ferry which made life a lot easier. The flat was perfect with milk, coffee and yoghurt in the fridge when we arrived. Had all the basics we needed with lots of space. The balcony was ideal for home cooked suppers and lunches. The location couldn't have been better. Whilst there is no sea view, access to the beach was very quick and easy (2mins) and it was very quiet and peaceful. we had some difficulties with the key to begin with in the old locks, but Leon and CJ came to help immediately and sorted everything for us. Gozo was an incredible island and we really enjoyed our stay. Public transport was so easy with a bus stop at the end of the road. It was a very enjoyable stay and we would love to go back!

Cj was much kind and helpful. He proposed to pick us up at our arrival in Gozo and showed us facilities in Xlendi and some of the marvels of the place. Apartment is spacious and well located, near to a bus station and city center though it is a quiet street. We even had some fresh drinks in the fridge at our arrival. Cj gave us advices for snorkeling and visits. We recommand this apartment much appreciated.

CJ and Lyon were very friendly and welcoming, offering to pick us up from the ferry terminal when we arrived. The apartment was great, comfortable and in a good location. There was fresh fruit and milk already in the fridge and several, much appreciated beers waiting for us when we got in. I would definitely recommend it.

Leon was very kind with us & very welcoming. The flat perfectly located to enjoy Xenli bay in a quiet street. Cj left a few things in the fridge for us witch was very convenient. Xenli is a beautiful place to stay and also a perfect starting point to discover Gozo ! I definetly recommand Cj's flat and also Ta'Karolina restaurant wich is two minuts from the flat ! (Don't forget make a reservation ;) )

We rather put up with the sewage smell in the apartment from drains in bathroom and kitchen everytime it got hot then speak to the landlord again. He said we where late for an arrival time we hadn't set. He shouted at us in the street even after I explained we had been travelling since 3.30am and I've just come out of hospital so stopped for lunch/swim enroute. The arrangement was I had said we'd be over after lunch time and I'd call enroute. He told us to come back at 8pm as he had something to do after lunch. We apologiesed anyway and he still stood starring at me creepily giving us a talking to about respect. He threatened to not give us the keys as he was thinking of changing his mind. We didn't bite with his argument as my boyfriend is very diplomatic and we just wanted to sleep by then! Not be stranded last min... The apartment view isn't the one in the picture, it's brick Walls out of every window. The beds where very uncomfortable too. I would not recommend the host or the apartment. And I have used air b and b all over the world. Never have I been greeted with such attitude. He apologised for being over reactive and shook our hands to start again but we still felt uncomfortable there.

Response from Cj:
This review is just simply not true - all our other reviews prove that. The guest was 7 hours late from the time she gave as her time of arrival (we have other listings as well where we have to meet guests for booking in) and and she did not communicate at all. The guest had no respect for the apartment rules e.g. smoking in the apartment, and she left the apartment in a total mess, not even putting the rubbish in the bin but strewn over the floor inbetween the wet towels.

CJ's apartment is very well located on Gozo with easy access to Xlendi beach. It was great to be met, showed around and we appreciated the provided cold water, iced tea, yogurt and coffee making facilities. Thank you. We found the town noisy at night but this was not CJ's fault.

Response from Cj:
Thank you Sophia! In regards to the noisy town one has to realise that your booking was for a Friday and Saturday night in the most popular seaside holiday town of Gozo in peak summer season when all the festivals are in full swing!
