Deirdre was a wonderful host. The communication was great with her. She greeted us with kindness at the apartment and went through some information with us. The apartment has everything you could want and more (including WiFi and cable). Very clean and a beautiful apartment. The view of the water was beautiful. The location is great. Deirdre had food such as milk, bread, eggs, yogurt etc to hold us over until we went to the store. This was so thoughtful and we really appreciated this kind gesture. Deirdre had a fabulous book filled with local restaurants and menus, stores, bus routes, local emergency numbers, attractions and tours around Ireland. This book was a great resource for us during our stay. Deirdre truly is a wonderful host and goes out of her way to make sure her guests have everything and more for their stay. We would highly recommend anyone to stay here. We will be back. Thank you Deirdre! !

Deidre met us at the apartment and gave us a thorough overview of everything we needed to know to be comfortable. The binder with information was very helpful and we referred it it frequently during our stay. We loved the location as we were able to run everyday on the beach and we also explored the neighborhood which was quiet lovely. We always felt safe and relaxed.

Deirdre was a very good host. She did everything to make our stay comfortable and the apartment was clean. The location was a bit far from the city centre of Dublin but the bus connections were quite good.

Even though we arrived very late, our host, Deirdre waited by the road to make sure the taxi driver would know where to stop. She then helped us into our unit and explained what we needed to know. She even provided a few basic things to tide us over until we could get to a grocery store (milk, juice, coffee, bread Etc). The apartment was as described and had just been completely re-done! In spite of extensive road construction, it was very quiet. Neighbors were all very nice as well. Bus service picked up about a block away and dropped off right in front. We found it to be very comfortable and would definitely stay here again.

We stayed in this flat for a week. Deidre was very organised and went out of her way to make us welcome. The flat was just what we needed - quiet, easy to get to by bus (route 130 to O'Connell St), with shops and restaurants nearby. The flat was spotless. The added bonus was that it was near water, so I could birdwatch while walking to the bus! Roadworks currently in place in front of the unit, but this did not affect us. We heard no noise during the day. It was such a bonus that Deidre left some breakfast food in the flat to see us through the next morning, until we could go to the shops. It is up one flight of stairs. We enjoyed our stay, nothing negative about it. Would stay again.

Deirdre is an exceptional host. She met me very early on the day of my arrival to let me in and help me get my bearings. The fridge and cupboards were stocked with staples, making me feel well taken care of. The apartment was clean, quiet, cosy and warm. I would stay again and again and recommend anyone else to do the same.

Deirdre's flat was spotless and exactly as described, also in a very quiet location. Deirdre herself is very friendly, organised, and super helpful. She offered to take me to a supermarket to stock up on gluten-free food and then drove me back to the flat after. She also booked me a taxi on my last day and called the company when the driver was delayed (stuck in traffic). The flat is a good location for quiet and fresh air, but not too far from the city centre. Everything in the flat was easy to use - the wireless internet, the shower, stove, and microwave were straightforward. On the dining table in the flat was a folder with tons of useful information including the wireless internet in the flat, public transport in and beyond Dublin, the nearest restaurants' menus, and many tour brochures. I also texted Deirdre with a couple of questions which she was quick to respond to. If you want a stress-free host and flat to stay in whilst visiting Dublin - this is it!

I am an avid reader, lover of music, live to travel. I am easy going but expect respect from my guests, as people living on the same floor are used to a quiet ,peaceful life. Not suitable for smokers or people who like to party.
