The neighbourhood

Within that period, which had been an area of fields and convents until the mid-nineteenth century, he saw the textile industry and workers' housing occupied the winding streets in this neighborhood of Barcelona. This, coupled with the proximity of the port, prompted the Raval evolve into a neighborhood of immigrants where were frequent social problems. We thought it would be a Good flat because of the previous comments. But when we arrived The flat was way smaller than it seems in the picture and she wasnt clean at all. The bed sheets were Dirty and the plates (etc.) were Dirty too.

Santiago was very friendly and helpful, communication was short, but sufficient, the appartment was okay, located very close to the main POIs, its neighborhood is very interesting/partially an adventure (especially the place in front of the appartment) - finally: it's EL RAVAL !!!, I would book the appartment again!

Perfect location, comfortable for stay. Very comfortable pillows, towels, hairdryer. Equiped kitchen. I would recommend Santiago's place. Santiago was very nice to help with our suitcase. Neighbours were very loud but we bought earplus from the pharmacy and didn't hear a sound.

Had a solid stay. The flat itself was good, the building and the street its in tho were a little shocking at first.

Location of Santiago's apartment is just great: in the heart of Raval, close to the main streets of the area (Carrer de Joaquin Costa, Rambla de Raval). The narrow stairs are indeed hard to go up and down (I have returned with some pain in my knees), but all buildings in the neighbourhood seem to have stairs like those, so this is something one has to be used to. The main problem of the apartment is the shower curtain: it is a little short, so the bathroom gets dramatically wet. Santiago is very helpful and was always available through cell phone text messages.
