Spacious, close to the train station to get to Cinque Terre, very friendly host. We drove so the parking was ideal.

The host was not there, but his father was and very welcoming. On the day of my arrival, it was raining and we had no umbrella, so his father was waiting for us providing us with umbrella and assisted us to the flat. Also, showed us around what was available. I liked the location of the place as it was closed to the station to Cirque Terre and the city center. They both took about 6-7 minutes walk if you know the direction and it was not that hard. Even though I was not impressed with the bathroom because it was traditional and the other one was rather small, but I was able to use the closer and everything in the flat. However, one thing that I really liked the most was the father of the host was unbelievably friendly, when I remember this place, the host's dad would be the person who I remembered.

Stefano and his father are really nice and friendly people; Stefano is incredibly helpful and responsive; the neighborhood is fine, not posh, not sure any of Spezia is; there are lots of shops close by - grocery, baker, pastry maker, etc.; very close to trains to Cinque Terre; One of the showers is a very small tub with low ceiling in basement - tough to take a shower comfortably; the heat was on and off and bathroom smell was corrected; we got value for our money but I would prefer to stay in Porto Venere or Cinque Terre towns next time

We were very happy and pleased with how informative Stefano was in giving us direction and information about the Cinque Terre. He provided maps, train and ferry schedules and made sure all our questions were answered. The apartment was perfect for us- 2 couples. And it is within easy walking distance from train station in La Spezia- huge plus. Also, there are bakeries, grocery and fruit stands with in 1-2 blocks easily.

Stefano and Armando were great hosts. We had a lovely time in the apartment. Walking distance to the train station and had everything we needed nearby; grocery store, pharmacy, bakery and restaurants. Stefano helped us arrange our next day's activities and also helped us make reservations for our next stop on our trip. THANK YOU ARMANDO AND STEFANO!!

Stefano was a great host and met us at the apartment to show us everything we needed and to recommend restaurants and sightseeing trips. The facilities were tidy and welcoming . We had 4 people and each had plenty of room. Stefano's father even went out of his way to help us with directions when our gps failed us!
