It was very lovely to stay at Granny's house. We were very comfortable and spacious. Convenient to Smirkus Camp and right near to Perennial Pleasures. Thank you Gail.

Grammy's House is a gem. Gail provided so much useful information for our stay--so many things to do in the area that we were not aware of. Gail provides everything you could want--from kitchen amenities to great games to comfortable and charming well-appointed rooms. It was the kind of vacation where you don't have to worry about a thing: just sit back in that recliner and nap to the soothing sounds of the nearby stream, or go for a trail hike or peaceful walk beside pastures, waving hello to the friendly neighbors. There is lots to do in the vicinity, but it's the kind of house where it's comfortable to just kick back and relax at "home." When it's time to go, Gail's short instructions make checkout quick and easy--no wondering if you've left things as you should. We would love to return on another trip to VT!

Response from Gail:
Thanks for taking the time to write such a nice review. We are only two months into renting this property and we do appreciate your valuable feedback. We do listen to our guests and will assess the pillow situation. What type of pillow do you prefer? Personally, I love the feather ones but I know not everyone does. Will correct the Roku info to HDM3 in all places. Thanks for choosing us!

Her sister that lives nearby opened windows on the porch to cool it off for us We were pleased to find a fan in the upstairs bedroom, not because we were hot but because my husband forgot his sound machine. Found the notebook helpful to locate scissors and pens, I would write way more if I were home on my big screen instead of this little phone

My husband has just retired and I decided to close my professional office and work part time. We have restored the office to a beautiful home and hope you can come vacation here. We have put a lot of our time and energy into making a comfortable place for you. I have put some local Vermont artist's works in it as well as some of my own quilts. The book shelf is stocked with some Vermont authors for your enjoyment. We are lifelong Vermonters and want you to also love our beautiful state.
