Nestled in nature, private driveway & entrance to level entry two bedroom, two bathroom suite. Full kitchen includes all necessities, laundry, living and dining area. Semi private yard, fire pit, close to town, hospital, college, golf, beach and more

The space

Guests will enter the suite through a private level entry leading you through the laundry room and into the kitchen. To the right of the kitchen is a large living/dining room area. At the end of this room is the main bedroom (over 200 sq ft) and large 3 piece ensuite. Natural wood plank flooring, newly renovated bathroom with tub/shower. Another door of the living/dining area leads you down a short hallway to the 2nd bedroom with it's own 3 piece bathroom (shower), very basic, nothing fancy, clean. The kitchen has all the essentials you need to prepare your meals.

Guest access

Outside you can enjoy your own quiet secluded lawn area surrounded by trees and nature. Walking nature trails either on the property or across the street.
By request, access to a cozy seasonal fire pit for roasting weiners, baking potatoes, grilling steaks, or quiet evening conversations.
The upper yard area is private.

Other things to note

Explore our 10 acre property which is minutes to walking and hiking trails. Outside the suite private areas for sitting to enjoy a picnic, evening fire, or relaxing in the sun. You may hear coyotes late at night, or catch a glimpse of deer and moose that may pass through along with other wildlife.
Lovely 7 min. summertime drive to Canoe Beach and for winter guests, we are within 15 min. to Larch Hills Cross Country Ski trails and 45 min. to Silver Star downhill and cross country trails, and 1 hour 15 min to Revelstoke.
Drive to town in 7 min or walk through trails most of the way - all downhill - to town then you could catch a bus back.
The Community Centre swimming pool, hot tub, and gym is a 5 min drive or a 25-30 min walk through forest trails.
Four golf courses are within minutes away; Salmon Arm Championship Golf Course, Canoe Creek, Club Shuswap, and Sonseekers. A short 25 minute drive to Hyde Mountain, Mable Lake Golf and Country Club, Shuswap Lake Estates, and Eagle River, and 45 min to Talking Rock in Chase B.C.
Enderby is 15 min away and you may float down the river for hours, Armstrong 25 min away and Vernon 40 min. We are 1.5 hrs to Kelowna, Kamloops and Revelstoke and half way between Vancouver and Calgary.

This is a non smoking quiet property. Being respectful of the environment, nature, our property, and others is important. Property owners do not welcome wild partiers.
Guest Information
Welcome to our home. I hope you will enjoy your stay.
We ask that you respect others that may be resting at all times. Please tidy up after each meal in consideration of others should you have booked a shared kitchen, ie: dishes – washed, dried, and put away, sink cleaned, counters wiped, floors swept if necessary or from time to time, garbage removed when nearing full, recycling sorted. We are an energy conscious family and appreciate your consideration when showering (5min), turning off all lights when not in use, always being aware of conserving water, and electrical energy.
Breakfast in not included. We offer seasonal fruits, cereals or local home-made granola, farm fresh eggs, bacon/sausage, and local organic bread for toast for an additional charge, upon request.
Laundry ~ Should you require the use of laundry facilities, there is a $4 charge per load.
In consideration of others, we ask that you do not do laundry before 8am and after 9pm
Noise ~ Common courtesy for noise, ie: stereo, friends, etc. Please keep noise level down to a minimum after 10pm and before 9:30am, and silent after 11pm, unless previous arrangements have been made.
Driveway and Parking ~ Please drive VERY slow when arriving and leaving to keep the dust down and ensure pets and people are safe. Please ask about parking space, and do not drive or park on green grassy areas. When snow is melting, the parking areas can be very muddy, in which case parking may need to be altered and vehicles may need to be kept out and away from the muddy areas until dry.
Garbage ~ Please ensure garbage is removed from house prior to being completely full and secured tightly. There is a large garbage can outside. Monthly renters are responsible for disposing of their own garbage and recyclables. The city dump 5 min. away.
Pets ~ Although pets are not generally permitted for monthly renters, you may on occasion have guests show up with one. Pets need to be on leash at all times, toileted in the bush area, not ever on green areas and may not run free. Little mountain park is just up the road and you may let your dog run down the far back end of the property. Please clean up after your dog in outlying yard area. We ask that dogs be crated at all times in the house, and ensure persistent barking does not occur.
Please no messes in yard, a $25- returnable deposit will be collected upon arrival to offset any such occurrences.
Privacy ~ Please respect the privacy of others. Guests are asked to avoid using the upper yard area. Please text, or call, should you need to chat rather than coming upstairs unannounced, and I will do the same. This ensures privacy for all.
Outdoor campfires ~ Please ask permission when you are wanting to have a campfire in the provided area. You may gather wood from the woods, but not from our wood supply. No fires are permitted during restricted summer months. Please ensure a bucket of water is nearby, and fires are kept small. Ensure all garbage is removed when finished. Fire must not be left unattended and thoroughly distinguished before abandoning.
Be sure to keep doors closed, and do not leave unscreened windows open when not in the room as we do not want unwelcome wildlife and critters in our home.
Check-out time is 11am and Check-in time is 3pm
Basically, its all common sense regarding being respectful.

We enjoyed our stay .. Jacqui was very easy to communicate with. Lots of room with 2 washrooms. Everything that you need for cooking etc. Not too far from downtown.
