In the upper part of the village of Fezzano, surrounded by the green hills between Porto Venere and Cinque Terre, a XVIIIth Century small house with an old-fashioned flavour enclosed in a typical quiet Ligurian pedestrianized area reachable with stairs only.
In general, a characteristic of Liguria are staircases and steps, small villages clinging to the hill where you do not come with cars and narrow streets with few parking spaces that are often all for a fee.
The house is in a part of the village clinging to the hill at sixty meters above sea level, enclosed in a series of houses attached to the other dating back to the Eighteenth Century: so you can not get in front of the house with the car but only just close and then you have to go down a stairway for 25-30 meters.
The road where you can park your car is about 500 meters long: near the houses the parking lots are often occupied while there are available parking spaces when you going down.
The house is in a very pleasant corner characterized by the silence typical of the Ligurian villages: she has been completely restored, but the original wooden ceilings and “graniglia” antique floors have been left. In the fully equipped kitchen the old fireplace hood and a precious marble gray Carrara washbasin have been preserved.
A home for those who love history and want to experience the atmosphere of a Ligurian village.

Other things to note
The Fezzano village is cut off two from the provincial road #530, and it is 6-7 kilometers from the crossroad to Cinque Terre, from la Spezia e from Porto Venere.
In Fezzano there are two grocery stores, three cafés, five restaurants, newspapers and tobaccos, unisex hairdressers, a doctor and Post Office.
At la Spezia, just 7 to 8 kilometers from the house, there are several supermarkets, also open late in the evening, and the central Market Square, open every weekday until 1 pm, with fruit and vegetables and the Fish Market.
For la Spezia there is a bus every 15 minutes, for Porto Venere every 15 minutes in summer and 30 minutes in winter.
During the summer there is also a boat service to Porto Venere and the island of Palmaria with a few daily races.
