In the upper part of the village of Fezzano, surrounded by the green hills between Porto Venere and Cinque Terre, a XVIIIth Century small house with an old-fashioned flavour enclosed in a typical quiet Ligurian pedestrianized area reachable with stairs only.

The space

In general, a characteristic of Liguria are staircases and steps, small villages clinging to the hill where you do not come with cars and narrow streets with few parking spaces that are often all for a fee.
The house is in a part of the village clinging to the hill at sixty meters above sea level, enclosed in a series of houses attached to the other dating back to the Eighteenth Century: so you can not get in front of the house with the car but only just close and then you have to go down a stairway for 25-30 meters.
The road where you can park your car is about 500 meters long: near the houses the parking lots are often occupied while there are available parking spaces when you going down.
The house is in a very pleasant corner characterized by the silence typical of the Ligurian villages: she has been completely restored, but the original wooden ceilings and “graniglia” antique floors have been left. In the fully equipped kitchen the old fireplace hood and a precious marble gray Carrara washbasin have been preserved.
A home for those who love history and want to experience the atmosphere of a Ligurian village.

Interaction with guests

My home is from Alloria's house only few minutes walk away and I will be
delighted to be at your disposal to make your stay enjoyable.

Other things to note

The Fezzano village is cut off two from the provincial road #530, and it is 6-7 kilometers from the crossroad to Cinque Terre, from la Spezia e from Porto Venere.
In Fezzano there are two grocery stores, three cafés, five restaurants, newspapers and tobaccos, unisex hairdressers, a doctor and Post Office.
At la Spezia, just 7 to 8 kilometers from the house, there are several supermarkets, also open late in the evening, and the central Market Square, open every weekday until 1 pm, with fruit and vegetables and the Fish Market.
For la Spezia there is a bus every 15 minutes, for Porto Venere every 15 minutes in summer and 30 minutes in winter.
During the summer there is also a boat service to Porto Venere and the island of Palmaria with a few daily races.

Recommended stay with Roberta. Roberta was very flexible and welcoming. Fezzano is a small town but with all you need. Roberta provided us with complimentary snacks and the kitchen was fully equipped. The cottage and town was beautiful and a true local experience. The Internet is a bit slow but a better signal is achieved by placing the pocket cube by the bedroom window. Would stay again.

The house was clean and Roberta was very helpful in explaining everything to us. You have to climb quiet a few stairs to reach the place but it is worth it. I really enjoyed staying at the place.

Roberta greeted us warmly and her little cottage was idyllic! With all the modern amenities it was a step back in time. Quiet, charming and a short distance from amazing sites. We would definitely stay here again!

We spent an amazing week exploring the villages and towns around Fezzano. Roberta was a wonderful host who gave us plenty of tips about the area. The apartment is lovely - very clean and comfortable with the ancient charm of the typical Ligurian hillside village. Fezzano is a very small village with a few restaurants and a marina, and you can reach the downtown village by stairs (there are a lot of stairs in these villages!). We had our own car, and it was convenient to park it free of cost near the apartment. There's a bus stop nearby so you can easily reach La Spezia or Portovenere without a car.

The appartement was very clean and is just like in the pictures. The neighbourhood was typical Italian so it was very beautiful. The view from the bedroom is really stunning.
