This house has all the essentials. It was more space than my husband & I needed. Steve's a gracious host. The house is walkable to all the essentials, but if you're going to Downtown DC, the bus ride can take 40+ minutes in heavy traffic. The Arlington Courthouse metro will take…

Response from Steve:
Parking in the driveway and free unlimited parking on the street make this an ideal choice for those with a car. All meters in Virginia are free after 6:30pm. In DC, the best option for a family is an early bird lot at $15 per day. That's cheaper than roundtrip metro. An excellent option is cycling. There is a Capital BikeShare stand right next to the house. $5 a day per bike. 4.1 miles to DC is about a 25min ride.

Quick response from Steve and he provided all details we needed. Clean, comfortable, no frills. Short walk to restaurants and a playground, and quick drive to DC. Great pit stop on our family road trip.

My mother and I stayed here for a night before catching a flight out of DCA; it was perfect for our purposes! The covered parking was a definite plus, as was the extra-cold A/C. The rooms were immaculately clean- you could tell Steve had been there to clean between us and the pr…

To be specific, this review is for my Historic Lustron House Listing; the all-steel home. I assure you the shower will last more than 3 minutes. It has a 40 gallon hot water heater.
