Dear Stamatios and other potential visitors of this apartment,
Stamatios is a very nice gentlemen and speaks very well English! He is the friendliest man on the island if you ask us. Me and my girlfriend stayed at his apartment for 3 nights to explore Corfu-City. He even brought our luggage to the nearby green bus station because of the relatively long walk. Such a nice man.
Some tips and tricks. The taxi/ blue busses will only bring you to San Rocco Square from the airport. It is a 5 min walk from this square be prepared for this (how to walk). There is a very nice and friendly bakery which is two times left and a supermarket on your way to San Rocco Square.
The blue busses will drive by if you are not completely visible. Also sometimes they detour their route, we experienced this at Mon Repos. The busses have only a departure time from the first station, so after this time the bus will arrive.
The Old fortress is a must see, bring your swim suit with you because there is a nice beach within the site. For a busy location in the evening (bar/lounge) see NAOK next to the Old Fortress. On the other side of the fortress there is also a nice beach and friendly lounge area. For a romantic dinner ask locals for the rooftop garden of the 'Colossos' (we don't remember the name) Hotel across the street from NAOK.
Another tip: if you want to visit another town or village on the island, the green bus terminal (national busses) are on a different place than the maps you can buy show you. Ask Stamatios for it.
As a conclusion, we would really thank Stamatios for accepting our visit. It was a very warm, clean and lovely place with a lot of personal items. Also the air-conditioning functioned well. We wanted to give him a tip but he refused!
