Experience a unique break in our lovingly renovated construction trailer "Biophilia," which is located in the middle of the idyllic Pfieffetal. Our construction trailer can accommodate up to two people and is ideal for couples, solo travelers or adventurers who want to escape the stress of everyday life and enjoy the tranquility.

The "Biophilia" construction trailer is equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay:
• Sleeping area: A comfortable double bed with fresh linens and soft pillows ensures a good night's sleep.
• Kitchen: A small kitchen with hotplate, espresso maker, milk frother and all necessary cooking utensils. A refrigerator is not available in the construction trailer, but the refrigerator in the adjacent summer kitchen can be shared.
• Bathroom: There is a camping toilet in the toilet house. There is no shower, but the Pfieffe, a clear stream, offers a refreshing opportunity to bathe directly in nature.
• Heating: A small wood-burning stove provides cozy warmth and a romantic atmosphere on cool evenings.

Enjoy the spacious outdoor area, which invites you to relax and linger:
• Garden: A large garden with hammocks.
• Nature: Surrounded by meadows and forests, the area offers numerous hiking and biking trails as well as opportunities for animal observation. The nearby stream invites you to linger and swim.

• Hiking and cycling: The area is ideal for long hikes and bike rides. Discover the beauty of the Pfieffetal and the surrounding forests.
• Animal watching: Look for the rare black stork, beaver and other animals native to the region.
• Cultural excursions: Visit the nearby Spangenberg Castle or the art installations of Ars Natura.
• Swimming: Refresh yourself in the clear waters of the Pfieffe or explore the surrounding natural pools and lakes.
• Outdoor pool and sauna: A very nice outdoor pool and sauna are just 2 km away and invite you to relax and unwind.

The name of our construction trailer "Biophilia" derives from a concept of the well-known psychoanalyst and social philosopher Erich Fromm. Fromm coined the term "biophilia" as the love of life and all living things. This idea describes a deep connection between humans and nature and the desire to live in harmony with it.
Fromm argued that biophilia is a fundamental part of human nature. He believed that this connection to nature has both psychological and physiological benefits. According to Fromm, biophilia not only promotes personal well-being and mental health, but also social and ecological awareness. In a world increasingly shaped by technology and urbanization, he stressed the need to preserve and foster this natural connection.
By calling our construction trailer "Biophilia," we want to symbolize this profound connection to nature and offer our guests a place where they can fully enjoy the beauty and tranquility of nature.
