I want you to feel like you're in a clean, minimalist, airy environment that sets the tone for a hip west coast vacation. The space has hardwood floors and sunny windows in every room — a living room, dining space, full kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and multiple closets. Most of the furniture is white, with a colorful array of blankets, pillows and photography. There are desert plants to brighten the space and artwork featuring the landscapes of Joshua Tree.
INSIDE - You will find collections of coffee table books and art supplies lying around which you are welcome to use. The place is stocked with bar supplies in a fully outfitted kitchen, within walking distance to some of the city's best bars and restaurants. There are paintings and photographs on the walls to brighten up the sunny living room - most of artwork is from LACMA which is also within walking distance. There is also a bookshelf with a broad selection ranging from Tolstoy to David Foster Wallace. Bonus, I will provide breakfast if you want.
OUTSIDE - The space is located at the intersection of shops and restaurants on Melrose, Santa Monica and Beverly (ask me for recommendations). A few of my favorite local places to walk to include - The Grove, the LA Farmer's Market, the LACMA art museum and sculpture garden, bars on Hollywood Boulevard or taco stands on Melrose. There are bus stops that will take you to the west-side or downtown. If you go south, there are hip brunch places, art galleries and theaters. If you go north, there are five-star restaurants, nightclubs and landmark buildings. If you stay home, there is a pool in the complex.
Renters will have the whole apartment with living room, dining room, bedroom, kitchen and storage space to themselves. You will also have access to amenities including wifi, speakers, books and movies, a fully-stocked kitchen and as a bonus, art supplies.
