The condo is located in the Bayview Village area. PRIVATE washroom + bedroom in a 2bedr-condo on the 15th level. FREE + SECURE PARKING underground & free YOGA classes + GYM + POOL in the building. Hypoallergenic space (no pets, no smoking). Near highways (Hwy 401 and 404). 20 mins drive to/from PEARSON AIRPORT (without traffic). Suited for travellers who plan to visit in & around Toronto by car. Walk 5 mins to Leslie TTC subway station 40 min downtown. Nearby restaurants, shops, malls, etc..
This modern style condo is a perfect blend of city dwelling and a hotel in uptown Toronto due to the various amenities (see below). SPACIOUS & BRIGHT, the condo is cozy and tidy. Professional cleaning services.**FREE PARKING under the building** Washer and dryer machines on the main floor (Ground level; $2 per wash or dry; soap provided). If you're bringing excess suitcases/luggage please bring it to my attention during the booking process.
This is a 2-bedroom condo + two washrooms + den, and I live in the 2nd bedroom. This place is suited for guests who need parking, who want amenities, nature lovers (hiking nearby) and/or who plan to do trips in and around Toronto with a vehicle (15-20 mins to harbour) or TTC subway 40 mins to downtown (Bloor and Younge St).
6:30am-11pm: swimming pool, steam sauna, hot tub jacuzzi
6:30am-11pm: indoor basketball court and badminton court (pick up games available), pool table, foosball
5am-1am: fully equipped gym
Also: group fitness classes daily 6 days per week (hot yoga, body flow, body sculpt, etc.), movie nights (Tues+Thurs @7:30pm) and kids movie night (Friday @6:30-8pm)

1) Cozy Bedroom: floor-to-ceiling windows wrap around two sides of this bedroom on the 15th floor giving you a full unobstructed view facing the north and west (wonderful sunsets). New full size mattress (June 2016), towels, blankets, hangers are available in an empty full size closet. New A/C airflow in the bedroom, but a fan can also be requested.
2) Dream Den: for groups >2 guests, a second bed can be set up in the den, separated from the open-concept common areas with a room separator. Floor-to-ceiling window on the 15th floor makes this enclave for sleeping unique. A Traditional Japanese Queen size (futon) bed - made of the thickest cotton material and the most layers one can find in Canada. New linens and towels for 2nd bed are also provided.
A 3-piece washroom includes a full size shower, sink and toilet, and some toiletries. New sink and granite countertop (Spring 2016).
Your security deposit covers items not returned or damaged or missing:
Fob + key = $100CAD
Other missing or damages (includes changing of locks if key+fob gone missing or not returned by check out): $400
Smoking or parties can lead to an immediate reservation cancellation or extra charge. $5 per glass bottle (alcoholic) disposal fee.

Interaction with guests
I'm available to answer any of your questions in person or via Airbnb messaging. I am home at times during the day.
The neighbourhood is safe to walk at night, with McDonald's, Ikea, Peking Man, Subway, Starbucks, Sunshine Spot, etc. nearby. I recommend the restaurants in Bayview Mall - 10-15 mins walk or 3 mins drive.

10 min Don Valley park - salmon runs are a must see in the fall, great trails that connect to Lake Ontario
10 min to Bayview Village Mall (Loblaws to buy groceries, Chapters Indigo bookstore, library, spas, etc) + restaurants: Oliver and Bonacini Cafe Grill, Origin, Il Fornello, etc..
By car: (without traffic)
5 min to Fairview Mall: shops, movie theatre, salons, etc
15-20 min to downtown Toronto (St. Lawrence Market, Harbourfront, CN tower, Skydome, Ripley's Aquarium, Porter Airlines on Toronto Island, ferry to Centre Island, Kensington Market, Convention Centre, etc.), $20 Uber ride
20 min to/from Pearson Airport, $26-37 CAD Uber ride approximately
30 min to Milton Outlet Mall (Kate Spade, Fossil, Banana Republic, Danier Leather, etc)
1) Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) subway:
Door to door, Leslie TTC station is 4 mins away (3 entrances). Underground path can be taken to walk to this station (not found online, so I can draw a map if you ask me).
TTC 35-40 mins to Yonge and Bloor (downtown)
TTC 40 mins to Eaton Centre
TTC 42-45 mins to Union Station

2) Highway 404 going north/south is a 5 mins drive, and Highway 401 going east/west is a 2 mins drive from condo.
3) Walking to restaurants nearby is easy and safe in this neighbourhood at night and during the day (hover over map to see restaurants nearby). However I highly recommend not walking in the Don Valley Park at night.
Other things to note
3pm-9pm (strict unless you have a good reason and you've informed me via Airbnb chat), I will not reimburse you for days you miss if you are unsure of your check in and check out days.
Don't forget to remove your food out of the condo.
Garbage removal (chute behind the elevator on the same floor) - I appreciate it if you remove excess garbage made in your bedroom, but it's not a big deal if you don't feel like it. Any glass bottles (alcoholic) left in the condo will be charged $5/bottle dispensing fee.
1) Do not leave your car unattended (ie someone in your group should stay in your car) at the front entrance, if you are planning to be out of sight from the concierge desk. When you are at concierge, you are safe to avoid a $250CAD fine if a parking officer is present. Front of the entrance is classified as a fire access zone (see signs).
2) Avoid a $30CAD fine by leaving the parking pass on your dashboard for display during your stay when you are parking in P1/visitor parking.
No hard rules just be respectful, friendly and quiet at night (especially after 12am). The rules below that are listed may be obvious to most so I apologize. I had a couple of guests who requested the rules laid out, which is fair.
FOOTWEAR: no walking with shoes, sandals, heels, etc in the apartment.
SUITCASES: if you're bringing excess luggage or moving boxes or camping gear, etc. they can be placed in storage. $5 fee per item for the entire duration of your stay. If you forget to tell me, I will charge you a flat fee of $30 on check-in for the excess luggage.
COMMON SPACES: keep tidy and clean. Clean up dishes (including emptying sink strainer food contents in garbage) and wipe counter, microwave and/or stove after use during your stay (I throw the dishes in the dishwasher after your departure so don't worry about the dishes in the morning of check out). Garbage chute behind the elevators if you create excess garbage. Don't forget your food from the condo or dispose of it.
Guests' ONLY WHITE KITCHEN CART (see photo): I only have basics, and may not have what you need. Your kitchen cart makes it easier for you to avoid going through my personal belongings and using my dishes (cross contamination --> I have some allergies) and for me to keep track of the inventory.
FRIDGE SPACE: top shelf and half the second shelf only are dedicated for guests. Freezer top shelf next to the organic box is also dedicated space for guests. Guests have been asking for ice so there may be two small ice trays in the top shelf. Feel free to help yourselves.
Kettle, microwave, toaster, stove and oven are available for guests to use.
WASHROOM: please don't purposely cut hair or leave nail clippings in the sink that may clog the pipes. Don't flush any objects like paper towels that may clog the toilet. Previous guests have done this.
PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH POTTERY in and on the shelves (mostly handmade pottery by me - each worth $50-90CAD each). Any broken pottery or stolen without reason will lead to immediate cancellation and loss of the security deposit.
Any missing items, including fob and key, pottery, laundry card, etc or damage to the condo unit or the building will result in a loss of up to $500 CAD from your deposit. Absolutely no smoking or pets - can lead to immediate cancellation of your stay.
Hello! I am looking to share my condo with respectful and friendly guests. Modern because of the amenities and finishings, the condo is comfortable and has a down-to-earth style. I believe hospitality is important, because some of my family members are in this business, and aim to make your stay a memorable one.
I enjoy travelling, learning and sharing travel experiences. I come from islands in the Indian that you may likely have never heard of. I like painting and making pottery, which you will find around the condo, and I love baking French patisserie (I have a slight obsession with madeleines). I would also love to hear where you are from and what brings you here!
