Olaug and her husband are such great people! She gave us clear directions from the airport and picked us up at the train station. Once we arrived she made us a delicious lunch! She kindly dropped us off and picked us up at the train station so my sister and I could explore Oslo. The same night, we were introduced to Olaug's husband who gave us a private tour of the Oslo Cathedral! We learned about the history of Norway, saw an amazing view from the bell tower, and played the church bells! It was such an amazing experience. We had an early flight the next day and he made us a delicious Norwegian breakfast. He took us to see a historic manor house (where the Constitution of Norway was signed) before dropping us off at the airport! Also, their home is truly unique and beautiful. Thank you for making our first trip to Norway unforgettable!

Olaug was an amazing Hostess! She lives in a beautifully restored traditional wooden home that is very warm and welcoming. Everything was neat and clean. She picked us up from the train station and showed us around the area. Her house is located in a quiet country setting. A wonderful place to take an evening walk and enjoy the countryside. Olaug prepared a wonderful dinner for us, she is an excellent cook! We enjoyed visiting with her and learning more about the history of her country.
