Thanks Alison for a lovely stay. Had a very restful weekend, enjoyed the open fire. Lovely cosy house, close to martinborough square. Comfortable beds and cute character kitchen. We would definitely stay again next time

Great location. Three blocks walk to hotel, restaurants and cinema. Generously provided breakfast provisions which was appreciated. Bonus of a fireplace. Nice front porch to sit out and relax. Only airbnb we stayed in to leave a bottle of wine for guests. There is an extra form to fill in provided by the host, to stay here.

Behind the picket fence was the perfect spot to stay the night in Martinborough.

We arrived on a cold and overcast afternoon, but the house was so charming and warmed up so quickly that we didn't mind settling in and spending time there. The house is located very close to the town centre - an easy walk if you're not driving - and well equipped. Very comfy beds, and nice garden/yard area. Great choice for a Martinborough stay.

Great location. Cosy, comfortable, and great kitchen table to sit around. Comfy beds too and efficient heaters warmed the place up quickly. Nice having some extra breakfast provisions and wine left for us.

Alison's place was very well set up for an overnight stay. Great old fashioned cottage. The kitchen had the old style range and cupboards which was really cute. We arrived on a cold but sunny day and the house was cold but it soon warmed up once we got the heaters going. We had everything we needed for a great stay even a complementary bottle of wine!

We had an excellent stay in Alison's house. It is located five minutes walk from the centre of the town. The house itself is well equipped if you decide to eat in instead of going out. Our children enjoyed the large lawn to run around on. We had no problems with internet/equipment/parking/anything else.

Originally from the UK, and then the Waikato - the Wairarapa Region has now become our home. Having travelled extensively in Europe and Asia, I know what makes a good holiday experience and what doesn't.

We hope you love Lavender53 and Martinborough as much as we do.
