Even though this time I couldn't be there personally my family was in love with the place, nice, clean, comfy, pretty, surrounded by trees and a great place to have a great time with friends and family, definitely recommended

This place is amazing, and I will definitely be returning soon! It's a great spot for a quiet getaway in a beautiful rustic ranch. Our host Ricardo was incredible helpful and accommodating, helping us reach the ranch, and making sure we had everything we needed. Can't wait to return!

If you want to be transported back in time about 80 years, and have the feel of the "old west", this is the place for you. Beautiful little cabins, with rustic décor. Ricardo will light a fire for you in the evening, tough to get to, but once there, a lot of fun. Bring some mountain bikes, although he has some you can borrow...

We had a wonderful 2 night stay. It is like stepping back into a different era. We enjoyed riding mountain bikes, horseback riding at a neighboring ranch, archery, bonfires at night. Ricardo led us through his neighbors ranch to a wonderful outdoor restaurant that serves birria on the weekends. The cabin will appeal to certain types of travelers, so make sure you understand the appeal before booking. You will need to bring in all of your food for the stay in a cooler. Ricardo will arrange a time to meet you in Puerto Nuevo before leading you up the unpaved mountain road which definitely requires 4 wheel drive. Ricardo was a kind and generous host. We enjoyed chatting with him and learning about his family and the ranch. If you decide to bring your dog, make sure you educate yourself on tick prevention and decide if it is worth the risk. We did bring our dog and he came home with so many ticks. It was completely overwhelming. Next time, I think we will choose to leave the dog at home, even though it was fun for him.

This is a wonderful place to get away and spend quality time with the family. Off the grid, no distractions and plenty of sites to see. The rustic cabin is just that, exactly what I was looking for. Ricardo was extremely helpful and a wonderful host.
