The space
Located on a totally private and fenced hill of 6.000 sq.m. just on the outskirts of Chania city, Villa Golden Hill offers total quietness and probably the best panoramic view over the Cretan island and the sea! Totally isolated but also close to everything, the three-storey 450 sq. m villa is furnished with great attention to every detail and it can accommodate 10 people in beds and up to 12 people if necessary.
Feel that you are staying over the sky as the villa is located 600 meters over sea level and Chania city but only a few km away from them! A peaceful atmosphere and modern amenities for restful holidays, perfect for families and children, couples, newly-weds and people with good taste. Enjoy tranquillity, comfort and luxuriousness in this exquisite and unique villa.
Indoor Layout
Ground Floor
Entering the villa on the ground floor there is a spacious open plan area consisting of the living room with a fireplace, a 47” satellite HDTV with Netflix, an indoor dining area and a fully equipped kitchen of top quality fixtures and appliances. There is also another sitting area with great view spreading in front of it. The living room area opens to a veranda with seating area which also leads to the pool and the garden area. Additionally, an office room with a printer is available for those who have to keep up with their e-mails, as well as a WC.
First Floor
Reaching to the first floor there are three bedrooms, two with a double bed and the other one with two single beds. One of the double bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with shower. There is also the main bathroom with Jacuzzi on the same floor. Spectacular sea views can be enjoyed from all the bedrooms on the first floor.
Lower Floor
A staircase from the living room area on the ground floor leads you down to the lower floor. On this floor there is a gym, an open plan area consisting of the playroom area and the secondary kitchen. Our gym has a wide collection of fitness equipment such as a treadmill, a stationary bicycle, abs equipment, a fitness multifunctional apparatus and exercise balls. The spacious and cozy playroom area contains a large sofa, 50” HDTV with Netflix, Playstation 4, board games, a pool table, as well as a fireplace. Moreover, the two remaining bedrooms of the Villa can be found on this level, one featuring a 1,60X2,00 bed and the other one with two single beds which can also be set up as a double bed. A bathroom with shower cabin is also available.
All bedrooms feature self-controlled A/C's for the ultimate comfort.
Outdoor Area
The beautifully landscaped lush gardens of Golden Hill Villa are home to more than 150 different kinds of flowers and trees, including with peach, apple, pear, grape, orange, fig, pomegranate and cherry trees. The outdoor area enjoys magnisficent, panoramic, unobstructed views of the sea, sky and the surrounding area, while offering a variety of facilities and relaxatio spots which include:
- A 90 sq. m., private, ecological swimming pool with hydro massage function.
The pool can be heated upon advance request, for an additional daily charge, for the entire stay, and requires at least one week’s notice.
- The pool terrace is equipped with 6 sun beds and a shaded pergola, covering both those who prefer to read a book under the shade and those who like sunbathing! Additionally, a cosy U-shaped seating area is perfect for lounging and enjoying the views!
- Fully equipped charcoal barbecue facilities with an outdoor sink and an al fresco dining area on the shaded veranda above the pool. A second outdoor dining table can be found on the lower terrace, under a pergola, next to the traditional stone fountain spring and wood oven.
- Large lawn covered areas are ideal for the kids to run and play and a swing is also available. A ping pong table and day bed can also be found on the terrace.
- Parking space for many cars is available inside the Villa premises.
- The whole outdoor area is totally private and fenced, offering 100% privacy to our guests.
**Accommodation cost excludes Climate Resilience Tax. The amount for the accommodation type is set at €15 per night from April to October and €4 per night from November to March, payable upon check-in.

Guests will have access and full privacy to all areas indoor and outdoor!
