Description

The neighbourhood

EATING AND DRINKING IN TENERIFFE
When you leave the building and walk left along Macquarie street for five minutes you'll come to Thai, Italian, Indian and Australian restaurants. Beccofino Italian restaurant on the corner of Macquarie and Florence Streets is very popular and very tasty. A minute more walk down Macquarie street is the London building with more bars and restaurantsOn the way to those restaurants is a bottle shop and convenience store

Or, if you leave the building and walk right along Macquarie Street, in 5 minutes you'll come to Samson and Sophie Cafe (good breakfast) and next to it Mizu Japanese restaurant (a favourite of mine, the 'mizupaccio' and chicken karaage are great). Walk ten minutes further following the road and you'll come to more restaurants and cafes and Coles grocery store.

Getting around

Across Macquarie Street is an access to the river walk.
> Following the river to the right will take you down to New Farm Park and the Powerhouse which continually has different art, music and comedy exhibitions showing.
> Following the river to the left will take you to the Teneriffe ferry terminal, where you can catch the CityCat public transport into the centre of the city or a little further to Southbank.

Also just across Macquarie Street is a bus stop for the 199 bus. This costs only a few dollars and can take you to the busy nightlife area of Fortitude Valley in only ten minutes, or further on to the City, Southbank or West End.

Liam's parents met me at the apartment to give me the key. They were very helpful and showed me where everything was, etc.

What a beautiful space! it was beautifully decorated and comfortable. Perfect for winter with the open shutters for a balance between indoor and outdoor space. The accommodation have everything you could need. Great location and thanks to his lovely mum for showing me around. Would stay there again.

Look no further, this is a great place to stay in Brisbane. The Woolstore apartment buildings have a funky industrial look, beautifully built of brick and steel and set amongst a leafy neighbourhood. The Brisbane River is a stone's throw away, with a great riverside walk all the way into the CBD - brilliant for cycling and sightseeing. Liam's apartment is furnished to complement the Woolstore look and is so spacious yet really comfy. It has everything you'll need and I loved staying there! Liam was quick to communicate and his mum & dad met me at the front door and showed me around which was really welcoming and lovely. Recommended!

Fantastic pad and great value, right in the heart of beautiful Teneriffe. Liam's dad met us at exactly the appointed time, to give us the keys and show us around - lovely guy. We didn't have a chance to try out the lap pool or any of the other amenities but if staying longer these would have been a bonus too. Would definitely recommend.

This is the most amazing place we have ever stayed with airbnb. This is more than you can get in any hotel: loft, pool, sauna, gym, kitchen with everything in it and on top of it Liam set up everything perfectly for us. The flat is huge, it has really got EVERYTHING, and it has an amazing view. Absolutely clean by the way. Highly recommended!!! Thank you a lot

Hi
I'm not in Brisbane a lot of the time, so I've stayed at airbnb places a bunch of times now and much prefer it's prices and character over staying at a hotel.
I've only recently listed my place at Lovely Teneriffe, hopefully I get some champion visitors to stay :D
