The space

My house is perfect for people who enjoy the mountain, but want to be close to the city. I built it three years ago with the thought of having a quiet and light modern home in the mountain that was also close to the city (Plovidv).

The house has a unique architecture, it's really light and clean. Warm in the winter and cool in the summer, it's perfect for a stay during any season.

The guest bedroom is equipped with a private bathroom, a queen-size bed, and a TV. There is a HDMI cable and a wireless mouse and keyboard. You can use the TV as a screen and to work from the sofa. The room has a marvelous view over the yard and the mountain.

You will be sharing the house with me, Hristo. I go out to work almost every weekday. I am happy to give you advice about getting around Plovdiv and the mountains. I go hiking every weekend and I can always take guests with me on a guided tour. I sleep in my bedroom, on the 2nd floor, but the rest of the space is open for you.

Snacks included. Refrigerator space available. Laundry/Ironing facilities. Free parking.

Guest access

House guests can enjoy a private bathroom, as well as access to the common areas:
- Shared kitchen - appliances (fridge, coffee maker, toaster) are available for use. Not allowed to cook in the house .
- Living room
- Yard - The yard has comfortable outdoor furniture, looking towards the mountain, where guests can enjoy their morning coffee or evening drink.

Interaction with guests

I go hiking nearly every weekend and I offer my guests trips in the mountain as well as city and region tours. Bulgaria has beautiful nature and cosy villages that can inspire even the most demanding tourist.

I can always give you a ride to the city, when I am not at work.

The neighbourhood

Hrabrino is a beautiful village, 15-minutes away from the second largest city in Bulgaria and sixth oldest town in the world, Plovdiv.

Getting around

There is a bus that goes to Plovdiv every hour. The bus stop is just 15-minutes away from the house.

You can also rent a car from Plovdiv for about €20/day.

I can pick you up from the Plovdiv Bus&Train Stations.

Hristo's house is amazing - beautiful, clean and a very convenient location for a walk in the hills. Hristo himself is a warm-hearted, open, generous host. Of course, you need a car to get here, but it's worth it if you want a relaxing stay near Plovdiv in the hills.

Hristo was a great host - very unexpectedly he put together a barbecue and salad on my arrival and we had a very interesting chat that evening. The house is wonderful and in a truly unique and rural setting and is beautifully built. Hristo is a well travelled and interesting guy. The best AirBnB I've stayed in. Thank you Hristo for both your hospitality and offering this service which allows people to experience a unique accommodation in the mountains!

A very nicely designed house, up in the mountains and free of needless clutter. Perhaps the most welcoming of hosts in my 20+ Airbnb stays. Hristo was kind enough to prepare and share a lovely dinner after I arrived late Learnt a lot from him about Bulgaria ... over wine. A very gracious host indeed.

I work as a doctor at the University Hospital St. George in Plovdiv, but always dreamed about having a small hotel in the mountains. To get myself closer to my dream, I built my house in the mountain (but close to the city) and included two fully-furnished guest bedrooms.

I am a really active person. I do sports every day and, living in the mountain, I go hiking or ride my bike every weekend.

I enjoy travelling (a lot). My latest destinations include Malaysia, Ecuador, Sri Lanka, Canary Islands, New Zealand, South Africa, and many more.
