Trickers Mill is a 5 storey Grade 2 listed Tower Windmill with its own private courtyard located in the heart of Woodbridge close to the Market Square. The ground and first floors have been converted to provide fabulous accommodation and comfort for two people and includes a large bedroom with a super king sized bed.

The space
You will have a unique experience as there are no other habitable windmills in Woodbridge.

Guest access
A small garage is available and there is space for cycles, golf clubs etc.
A private courtyard and seating area is available for your own use.
From the bedroom there is a staircase and trapdoor to the upper levels where stunning views over the roof tops of Woodbridge and the river Deben can be enjoyed. This part of the windmill is a step back in time and is as it was 200 years ago. Care needs to be taken as the stairs are steep and some machinery is at head height.

This wonderful accommodation is located in the heart of the historic market town of Woodbridge, located on the River Deben. The town has an excellent range of markets, cafes, restaurants, pubs and shops as well as an independent cinema and the famous Tide Mill, a rare example of a tide mill whose water wheel still turns.

Guests can enjoy the bird life on the nearby river. Woodbridge is also famous for those who enjoy sailing and is great for cycling, golf and walking.

Woodbridge is conveniently located for exploring the Suffolk Coast an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The picturesque town of Aldeburgh is a short drive away, as is RSPB Minsmere, the fascinating historic burial ground of Sutton Hoo, the Bawdsey Peninsular and Quay with unspoilt small sandy beach. Orford, Shingle Street, Southwold and Framlingham are also short drives away.

Woodbridge railway station is a few minutes walk from the Mill.

I love living in this beautiful and unspoilt area of Suffolk. Woodbridge is such a lovely market town with easy access to the coast, forests and historic points of interest. I'm a host and a guest on Airbnb and think it's a great way of finding somewhere to stay. In any spare time I have you will find me walking and exploring footpaths , cycling the many cycle routes or enjoying the golf course! There are some great pubs and restaurants which we enjoy sampling too! We share the hosting with Pip who will be available during your stay if needed.
