About this listing
Located on the top floor of an historic house, this modern apt offers lovely views, a house roof terrace, and great location. Nestled in the quite neighborhood of Nordnes, this house is a 5 min walk to the harbor, main shopping street, and aquarium.
The apartment shares a roof terrance with the 3 other apartments in the house so if the weather is nice, or the sun is still up at midnight grab a bottle of wine and enjoy the view and maybe meet other air bnb travelers. Please just be respectful of the neighbors, especially after 22:00.
Interaction with guests
If you have any questions or issues during your stay, you can knock on Christian's door and ask. He lives in the 2nd floor apartment in the house with his girlfriend and is helping to run the apartments.
Nordnes is one of the oldest and nicest neighborhoods in Bergen. It boasts the aquarium, the public outdoor salt-water swimming pool, the art house cinema at Verftet, and countless playgrounds and parks.
The apartment is a 15 min walk to the train station and 10 min walk to the airport bus and ferries. The number 11 bus stops right outside the door. (although you'll probably never use it as everything in Bergen is within walking distance.)
The general rule is treat the apartments and neighbors with respect. This is a very residential neighborhood and Norwegians (especially the older ones) like something to talk about over their afternoon coffee!
No loud music, please, after 10pm.
Remember to lock the apartment AND outer door at all times!
Please wash any dishes and utensils you use before departure.
